TAL, that 9/11 band on uncle Sam's arm in the Cox and Forkum cartoons really reminds me of a certain type of swastika worn on a certain type of party-members' arms.

I think you've hit that one right on the head- TAL's "bring 'em on" pictures sort of forget a key factor about the American military... it can't handle "'em all".
