On a related note, I hate it when people decide things aren't funny because they disagree with their political views. I think the Daily Show is funny. I think the Colbert Report is funny. I laugh at the political cartoons that are funny.

I also get kind of annoyed when something is seen as funny simply because of it's political bias. The "This Modern World" and "Tom the Dancing Bug" cartoons are illustrative of this. A number of them have been posted here in the satire forum, but they're never funny or even have traces of humour. They're simply (long) ideological rants in cartoon form with no punchline.
