It would only make sense that Americans have a deep hatred towards Osama and not Yassin ...

Also looking at it from the American perspective Isreal killing Yassin did I no favors ... its just adding one more thing we have to deal with ...

Killing Osama could only help us ... yes the martyr thing but he would be a martyr alive or dead. He will not gain any more draw then he already has ... Yassin this is not so ... in death he is more powerful then in life ...

Furthermore ...

Hamas is a regional threat ... if we are to believe that the Al Qaida umbrealla is really as broad as the US suggests it is then Osama has more blood on his hands then just Americans ...

In other words ... Osama = big fish. Yassin = little fish.

The consequences for pulling in a big fish are bad enough ... but creating terrible consequences for pulling in a small fish is just not logistically wise.

The story ends, it just ends.
