Actually my reason for discussing "global" versus "local" ideologues is more an interest in what they think, less what their ideologies "realy are about".
A hypothetical example: There is an idea, "X" about the "perfect way of life for all humans". According to "X-ideologues" everybody should do whatever necessary, including use of force to lead every human being to the right and perfect way, regardless of their wishes. It is hard to see how to avoid conflict with "X-ers" and the rest.
