I was thinking with all the money they steal and lives the ruin does a country really need a politician , does it really need a leader?
What If a country was functional without the use of politicians. The fate of a country decided by the people than by an elite few.
What I am saying is not that we do not government , the government is essential to how our country runs. But do we really need
politicians. Politicians are elected to represent the people , but what if instead the people voted and made the decisions rather than
the politicians. Would this be a feasible idea ?

If people are not educated and are only after their own well being, it is true, which in general term appears to be the trend.

only after their own well being

Human beings are like that.

Even when motivated to "higher" goals its only because it feels good to do so and people feel guilty when they don't. Evolution put such nice little emotional responses in to force us to work together.

electronic voting systems with real-time "voting" via correlations with intentionality via circuits that scan synaptic firing would be the only way. unfortunately, it is hackable and even if it could be implemented without outside influence it would not necessarily be the best system at least imo

A fully democratic society without parties and politicians is indeed possible. The system you are refering to is called Demarchy http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demarchy. Without politicians and parties there would be limited scope for special interests groups to influence legislation. A fully representative house or council citizens Would appoint an Executive and would be responsible for holding Ministers to account.

A protocol would be devised to direct lay citizens to make decisions based on the best available evidence. Questions would be submitted to the executive in writing and they would be duty bound to reply likewise. It would be a sackable offense for a Minister of the Executive to mislead a citizens council and any Minister found culpible woluld be stripped of his pension and receive no compensation.

I would point out that taxes might seem somewhat less burdensome if you were the one to vote to have them in the first case, rather than a "representative" making that decision for you. And that the rationale for oppressing and hating minorities kind of follows from the competition created by a society where the wealthy have whatever they want leaving only crumbs for everyone else to fight about.

How about if there was not "government" in the normal sense but a governance by organisations that do not have monopolies over things such as the use of force, currency creation, and any other service.
These organisation would also be completely voluntary, there may even be competing organisations for the same services thereby introducing the incentive to actually perform well. Unlike many government services we have today.

Democracy is only possible when politicians no longer exist. The notion that "electing" someone (in reality these people work for their pre-elected masters) to vote on your behalf is ridiculous because they will always have other interests at heart and will try to screw you over every time.
