Stalin took advantage of the Soviet system to create a rabidly authoritarian country dedicated to his own veneration and insular rejection of any thing including scientific fact that went against the party line. Dooming the communist project and poisoning the well for communism for generations.

His second coming will of course purge the earth of capitalist filth and usher in paradise according to the more religiously oriented stalinists.
