Yeah we need a Michael Moore avatar. He's frickin' hilarious and he mainly supports leftist organizations such as the Greens.
The "
Greens", whilst I have a lot of respect for them when they are not tree-hugging, are more liberal or liberal-Left as opposed to true Leftist. More often than not though, they will align themselves with the Left, as they can agree about a lot of things - but never will they do it with the Extreme Left. There are some communists I know (via the Web) who live in the US who despise the
Greens. They view the, quote; "tree-huggers", in a very derogatory and counter-revolutionary fashion - kind of like the way Lenin viewed the Mensheviks after
Red October.
Regarding Michael Moore now. I used to give a lot of credit to the guy, but, if one looks behind the scenes - something which we do continually on this forum, we find some quite shocking facts about this Irish-American:
1. For the man who made the film
Bowling for Columbine - which was all well and good, so no knocking there, and has directly several other similar documentaries on the subject, what would you say if I told you that he was a card-carrying member of the Rightist organization the NRA -
National Rifle Association.
2. During the filming of the "Rage Against the Machine" video
Sleep Now in the Fire, he was
arrested. The filming also shut down the New York Stock Exchange early that day.
3. On the Fox News Channel show "Hannity and Colmes" Mr. Moore admitted that he lives in a
$1.9 million dollar home in
New York City.
4. On a more personal note, his book title
Stupid White Men really annoyed me. My great-aunt said of it's title earlier this year; "That's ridiculous - if you wrote a book called
Stupid Black Men, you would be hauled off before Race-Relations!". I would entirely agree. I also thought that his book title was very offensive. White men make the world go round for goodness sake!
Stupid American Republicans or
Stupid Yankee Diplomats would have been much better in my opinion.
Plus he hates Dubya so he's my kind of man
So do I. Does anyone actually like Bush?
