Second German soldier arrested over 'false flag' plot to assassinate left-wing politicians in terror attack

A second soldier has been arrested for allegedly planning a “false flag” terror attack to be blamed on refugees in Germany amid fears of a wider neo-Nazi network within the army.

The plot was exposed with the arrest of a German lieutenant, Franco A, who was found to be posing as a Syrian refugee in order to carry out a shooting attack targeting left-wing politicians.

Dortmund bus terror arrest: German-Russian man 'carried out bomb attack to make money before blaming Muslims'

I wonder how long before the usual suspects come out and blame Islam for these terrorists.

Ah, it's almost like the good old days again. Europe has been getting too stuffy and boring without Germany getting up to its jolly japes. Hopefully, they'll start doing those torchlight processions and burning books on bonfires again, to add a bit of local colour for the tourists.

noir wrote:The old Nazis were of mixture right and left elements. Positive view on Muslims is also part of their dark history. Now we see a clash between two legacies, but according to official propaganda only the xenophobic are "Nazis".

Yeah well thats because it's just factually accurate. Extreme Racism/Xenophobia was juts a core Nazi value. refusal to accept this is just refusing face the basic facts of history.

The Nazis had many allies among the "color" world (Reza Shah of Iran, Subhas Chandra Bose of India, the Mufti Haj Amin el Husseini of Palestine, Rashid Ali of Iraq, King Faruk of Egypt and many more). Bose's Indian Legion even helped them in France

The Nazis had many allies among the "white" world outside of Germany too, but like the muslims - more of them fought against the Nazis than supported them. So whats your point?

Let's move on to the really important question: What has German society done to these guys that they have become so alienated?

And let's not jump to conclusions about their motives. This is complex and no matter what they say themselves and the evidence that is found, the real reason is the appalling treatment they have received from society.

While I know this is sarcasm there is an element of truth to this. It's probably not merely that they don't like Muslims, lots of people don't, it takes a special sauce to do something horrible like this. I suspect that their main motive may well have been the desire to do something awful and a sense of alienation and anger. They put all those feelings onto a specific societal ill and tried to kill it.

Furor Teutonicus should not surprise anyone with a knowledge of history, violence is the core of the German psyche, the Romans knew it, the French knew it, the Jews discovered it and now you know it. Their true nature will always come to light in the end.

During the war "racism" was not as it's known today. Nazi Germany presented itself both as an ally of Arab anti-imperialism and as a soul mate of the religion of Islam as it understood it. The British thought they had embarked on an “obvious search for a racial or religious movement that can be used to destroy Britain’s power in the Middle East.” What emerges from this is a pattern of Nazi and postwar German support for and exploitation of Arab and Muslim aspirations against the “imperialism of oil,” i.e., Britain and the United States.

Researcher George Michael points out:
During this period, renascent Nazis saw the rise of Arab and Third World nationalism as an excellent opportunity to create a German-Islamic neutralist alliance that would extend from the heart of Europe to the South China Sea. This idea was consistent with the late Karl Hausofer’s policy of an alliance with the “Colored World.” Hausofer is generally regarded as responsible for popularizing “geopolitics.” One vision of this new extreme right foreign policy was to create – with the assistance of the grand mufti and the Arab League – a German-Egyptian-dominated power bloc that could resist both the United States and the Soviet Union.

Postwar Germany wasn't different. Same diplomats continued to work in the foreign office. Utilizing nationalist Arabism together with the old strategy of the Third Reich to form an alliance with the Arabs against Western (British) imperialism.

In the 1950s and 1960s, no other country could claim to have so many different organizations grouped for the same over-all purpose. Among them were the German-Arab Society, directed by former Nazi party member Horst Morgenbrod; the Near and Middle East Association with its Nazi adherents in Hamburg and headed by Dr. Ernst Messerschmidt; the German-Arab Association in Bonn; the German-Arab League in Heidelberg; the German Regional Eur-African Center in Bad Godesberg; Dr. Fakoussa’s German-Arab Institute in Bonn; the German-Egyptian Society, in Frankfurt, directed by Frau Ursula Beyrich; the Association of Overseas Interests, in Winsdorf; the Society of the Friends of Africa, in Berlin; and the North African Club, of Hamburg and Berlin, whose chief was Hans Peter Rullmann.

A European Nazi-Arab network emerged to exchange information on world affairs and facts concerning Jewish activities in all countries. It also fostered suitable liaisons with Arab representatives. Many of these Nazi and fascist groups aimed at building a European Middle East policy. In Germany, the head of the Arab office in Bonn, Hassan Awat Fakoussa, an attaché at the Egyptian Embassy, published a weekly information bulletin that contained much material from the neo-Nazi press (Deutsche National-Zeitung, Deutsche Wochen-Zeitung). One of the leading figures in the German neo-Nazi movement, a former SS officer named Karl Ernst Priester, was a founding member of the European Social Movement. After his death, a police investigation revealed that he was one of the chief European agents for the Arab League.
