Except we have no reason to believe it’s a rat. I have looked into BVM and based on what I’ve found it seems to be a legitimate non-partisan organization. Nothing it has done both in its history and here is any indication of partisanship. They were just getting some senior citizens, who asked to take them to vote, to the ballots. There’s nothing partisan about this.
Furthermore, US media and unions aren’t required by law to post the truth or not to take from union funds. For self-proclaimed non-partisan organizations however, there is a legal precedent to its status and such a status can be revoked at any given time assuming the appropriate conditions. This is what makes this situation different.
Stealing from union funds is a crime and is so common it is basically a joke in the US.
There are a couple reasons to be suspicious. The seniors already had transportation provided for voting and had no need to ask for other transportation. I am not even sure this was even stated.
It does not take a group to drive a bus. What were the other members of the group there for?
Why did they not check whether there would be a problem? You don’t remove people from a place like that without talking to the people in charge.
I dream of the United Citystates of Earth, where each Citystate has a standardized border such as one whole degree of Latitude by one whole degree of Longitude.
