So "soon" does mean MORE THAN 1900 YEARS from now... or at least it does NOW....

because it DIDN'T in the PAST when "Christians" were 100% WRONG over and over and over again on this very subject.

Indeed, the "Crusades" were over the very same issue, and in year 980, the largest denomination of "Christian" was predicting the ancient version of David Koresh would float down from the clouds in the year 1000...

How any human with a working brain could still fall for this utterly ridiculous bullshit is beyond me.

Only one demographic observed this fraud when he actually lived, the Jewish demographic, and they reject him and consider him a fraud, and those whose ancestors never got near this guy are absolutely certain that those who actually observed him are wrong about him, because they parrot and sing songs every Sunday....

I challenge ANYONE to interpret the passage from Revelation as anything but proof the author (John via an angel via "God") had NO CLUE AT ALL what a STAR was....

New International Version
and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.

New Living Translation
Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind.

English Standard Version
and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.

Berean Study Bible
and the stars of the sky fell to the earth like unripe figs dropping from a tree shaken by a great wind.

Berean Literal Bible
and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs, being shaken by a great wind.

New American Standard Bible
and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.

King James Bible
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Christian Standard Bible
the stars of heaven fell to the earth as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when shaken by a high wind;

So basically you didn't really read what I wrote in reply, your just engaging in your usual extended diatribe of daddy issues, and you'd say whatever comes to your mind no matter the other person's input.

Terribly boring.

You are a one-note player, without substance, so feel free to ignore my posts in the future, as I will gladly ignore yours. Thanks.

I'm a little different. I totally understand why Israel will never willingly give up the Golan Heights, I get their strategic considerations even if I don't accept Zionism personally.

Regardless, whether or not you accept Zionism, it is happening.

I'm willing to be patient and see the ends of things, to know how it all fits into God's Plan, which I do not presume to fully know. Everything happens for a reason, and I think there will be many surprises, as man sometimes plans that which is sinful and wrong but God uses it for good.

Well, we can at least agree that we don't fully know. That seems better than our bickering over who has got it right.
Praise the Lord.

Not 8n the least.
Israel took the golan hights after being attacked to keep the enemy at a distance aka the arabs muslims and thoer terriost groups.

I suspect that there's more to it than that, although I've stated that were I a Zionist i'd probably do the same thing as Israel did eventually. ''Arabs'' =/= ''Muslims'' =/= ''Terrorists'', although there are guys who are all three. I know Arabs who are Christians, and Arabs who are Jewish in religion, and by no means are all Muslims terrorists. And I say that as someone who thinks Islam and Judaism are false religions.

Russia annexed Crimea

The Crimea held a vote on it after the Fascists took over Kiev, and applied to be part of Russia which they always historically were. The Soviet Union put the Crimea into the Ukrainian SSR only in the 1950's, along with other areas that have never been ''Ukrainian'', those back in the 1920's . So it wasn't a straight up ''annexation'' of Crimea by Russia. Russia is not the Soviet Union, only the successor state of it, and I do not think she should be held by the internal boundaries of a dead regime like the Soviet Union.

because it wanted the area

In addition to what I already said, Russia's Black Sea fleet was always there, and remained there even after the Ukraine seceded from the USSR in 1991. You can't really ''want'' something that has always been yours by right-it's part of who you are, always, like Serbia and Kossovo, or Massachusetts and the USA.

plus they knew the only thing obama would do was spin on her rear end and say weee weee weeee all the way home

Nobody was going to challenge Russia on taking control of the Crimea, because sensible people already knew the facts about this, and knew that Russia will never cede part of herself to a foreigner if they can help it. It's not worth nuclear war. Obama was a lot of things, but stupid wasn't one of them.

It already happened and failed and I posted about this already in this thread. The reason it failed is because Syrians in Syria's Golan consider themselves Syrian, not "Israeli".

I underlined the relevant info below. Again, nice try.

skinster wrote:The Israeli attempt to hold elections in occupied Syria - that violates international law - were overwhelmingly rejected by Syrians living in the Golan. Nice try though.

Unlike you and the state you moved to, these Syrians have a history, and by the result of the overwhelming rejection of Israel's attempt to hold a vote in Syria's occupied Golan, it looks as though they continue to consider themselves Syrian. Similar to how they consider the land they live on to be called Syria. Not so different to how many Palestinians consider where they live to be called Palestine (and not "Israel").

Weird that you wish for a people you occupy, who don't recognise you, to....recognise you. The people in two thirds of Syria's Golan are militarily occupied by what they consider to be a foreign army, so why would they vote for you? Would you if the roles were reversed? :?:

Exactly.

it dosent really matter if they vote or not but I know for a fact that they dont want to return to Syria and all this thing about being used to live in Syria and blah blah blah is bullcrap the young generation dosent give a shit anymore
#15005662
So now you've moved your "argument" to it doesn't really matter. This was easy, like shooting fish in a barrel (something your army indulges in regularly).

They don't want to "return" to Syria because they are in Syria, in its Golan territory, where two-thirds of it are occupied by a foreign army/state the people refuse to be a part of.

was said about Palestinians too before/after the Zionist invasion. 70+ years on and they haven't forgotten.

well thats not the same situation "Palestinians" are living the conflict almost daily
the druze in Golan heights live a quite life and the army is not harassing them they can go freely wherever they want
they have no reason to "fight" or to "resist"

Most of of us in America that believe in democracy, support Israel to succeed. That is obviously because Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.

Apartheid regimes that deny full rights under the law to natives not of the same ruling ethnic group as citizens are not democracies, whatever else one may think of them. Israel was in the mind of it's secular and socialist founders a ''Jewish Democracy'', but over time, they have discovered that Israel can either be Jewish or it can be democratic, but it cannot be both.

I actually agree with this.
As long as their existence as a country is being questioned, survival trumps democracy every time.
Until such time as Israel should not be worried about existential situations, niceties like democracy will have to take second place.

Israel is of course a democracy today, but the democracy that is being advocated with the Arabs deploying the demographic weapon and the revision of historical facts would undoubtedly lead to Israel becoming just another Islamic majority country with Sharia and other Medieval customs.
So, no, thanks but no thanks.
