I'm not. And neither was the woman in my avatar....

I believe Jesus when he said.....

You shall know the Truth (the World and it's Satanic levels of Corruption is absolute bullshit), and the Truth shall set you free.

Same Bible verse the Christian supporters of Assange put on their banner! Good on them!

This is exactly why the truth is illegal and politically incorrect. Because it might set some people free.

Civilization - including Christian civilization - is about creating slaves and living off doing little labor. The Jesus meme provides some sufficiently muddled message that it can be interpreted as "be a submissive slave to others, especially if they're rich or well armed."

The "Julian Assange" message is that the Internet must not be used to discover anything true. It must be used as a continuation of the commercial brain-washing that has been so productive for the 1%.

Assange has Religious supporters(did you see the yellow banner?)... So?

His arrest was without cameras(lucky one was enough!) with cops storming into an otherwise peaceful location to arrest a non-violent dissident with their weapons(batons!) at an odd time of the day when they thought no one was watching... Sounds very similar to me.

Too much deja vu, lol!

I was at the extradition hearing yesterday morning. The court did its best to keep the public, supporters and non-alternative media journalists outside the courtroom. Outside the court front was packed full of protesters from all over Europe, a contingent of Yellow Vest protesters came along too. The street outside the court got shutdown. The movement behind Assange and journalist freedom is building. Protests took place in Sydney and Berlin too. The next hearing dates in London are on May 30th and June 12th and you should go.

That's good to know Skinster, and thank you for sharing your experience.
There's more about how people were kept outside the court-room on the day of hearing, and how small the space was for those inside; in the following link:

Protesters oppose US extradition proceedings against Julian Assange

It includes other noteworthy information of course, such as people having travelled from the other European countries, including Denmark and Spain; to be there defending the freedom of speech and resisting extradition (better say 'rendition') of Assange to the US.

Yep, I met people from Spain, Austria, France and Belgium. I understand there'll be people from as far as the U.S. at the next ones. 8)

Corbyn as a prominent political figure, should have called for at least one mass-demonstration for the freedom of Assange by now. His silence so far, on this important political matter is unforgivable!

But you'll never know, it's still possible...

He's made a passing comment about the subject; that 'Assange should not be extradited to the US'. But people expect (and rightfully so) much more from him, than just that!

Corbyn opposes extradition and has made that clear. My guess is he's not pushing hard against this at this early stage because he wants to avoid any and all criticism he'll likely get for....just about anything. An extradition process can take years tho so I'm sure there'll be more from Corbyn and his camp on this issue. Diane Abbot has already been vocal against it:

So Corbyn made one lousy tweet and then immediately walked it back saying that Assange should be held to answer the bogus rape charges. :knife: We all should expect big things from this spineless fucking waffler.

I agree with you partially about this, as I believe Corbyn has not stood firmly / gone as far as he could; on an issue so important to our world today. As far as avoiding 'any and all criticism' goes; we should know that 'politics' does not and cannot escape from that. In the world of conflicts we live; this is what a great part of politics is all about...

And yes, Diane Abbot did go vocal about the subject in the Parliament, but her wordings were very carefully selected then; and later on she clarified her position on it in a tweet:

“Assange skipping bail in UK, or any rape charge that may be brought by Swedish authorities shouldn’t be ignored.”

She basically did not stand against those (Labor and Conservative) MPs who signed a letter to Home Secretary Sajid Javid and herself; requesting the extradition of Assange to Sweden for the former already dropped charges against him.

He didn't walk it back, he addressed them.

Yeah we should, check out his voting record.
