Do you think this is the beginnings of a permanent police state or not?

Omar Jimenez CNN reporter taken away by Minnesota cops due to (no one knows why)? Hmmm.

Is this the beginnings of don't cover a riot or protests because the cops are gonna go for broke with the public and want no evidence of wrong doing happening? What is the justification for this?

Unthinking Majority wrote:That could be the case yes.

The cops violated his 1st amendment right, freedom of the press.

That was my observation Unthinking Majority, it could be this is the beginning of a police state.

When they start doing this? It is a change from the norm from before. Now? Could be they are going to start arresting people. Using the pandemic maybe? Or it could be a general state repression for any kind of evidence that they don't agree with?

It is a break in protocol. One has to pay attention to that.

I'm so sick of thugs getting away with looting and getting no punishment at all.

Thugs like Mitt Romney who, as head of Bain Capital, saddled companies with debt, looted their assets and pension plans, ran them into bankruptcy, and then walked away millions of dollars richer - while erstwhile employees walked into the unemployment office.

The real looters are the thugs in Congress and corporate boardrooms.

Riot police are the worst. Things almost always break down and the cops do the craziest stuff. I dunno if it's mob mentality, or they get fearful, or it's the chaos, or what.

These looters are infants. They go with the peaceful protestors and take advantage of the big crowds and just start smashing windows and grabbing shit from stores.

Looks like Don 'There be black holes swallowing entire aeroplanes!' Lemon isn't cutting it for the soul brotha league.

Atlanta protesters vandalized the CNN headquarters there. The only thing consistent is this escalating mess is that everyone despises CNN. :')

"Speak the truth, brotha!"

'White people' whisperer Van Jones is explaining to white people why they all have a 'white people' virus in their brain. "White people!"

I think MLK Jr. has an opinion about riots, and looting but he does it with a lot of intelligence.

He studied Ghandi and MLK was a socialist. Many never mention that. They want to think that socialism is about immorality. It never was.

These people from Tulsa did do the right things. The immigrant story. Seething resentment. Black Wall Street. It created hatred and resentment. And the violence unleashed on them was horrific. So the Black people were successful using the American formula. But the White people could not accept that the monkeys, n's, and black beasts. So they had to prove that they could not aspire to anything better because the white establishment could not accept that their beliefs about Blacks were total LIES.

So who are the savages people? Uppity negroes in the white house...the reaction? Trump.

The Sabbaticus wrote:Rapper Killer Mike - a so-called community leader - explains why CNN was targeted.

In some sense, it's a responsibility that he should bear but didn't. I fail to see him better than who he targets.

While I have to say I sometimes have similar sentiment to different entities, at least I would be more honest in acknowledging that such sentiment is negative or destructive, and having such sentiment means I don't believe either my target or myself could ever be positive.
