I should. Examination of French mandate records in the 1920s-30s clearly show that the 14 farmsteads comprising the Shebaa Farms were Lebanese. The farms were considered by local residents and even French officials stationed in the area to fall in the qada of Hasbaya with the border running up Wadi al-Assal.

It's too bad that, assuming these claims are factually correct, both sides had several maps showing them to be in Syria

Apartheid state just can't stop:

wat0n wrote:Goldin was already dead when the Hannibal Directive was supposedly activated, although your concern for Israeli soldiers is cute (and fake).

They claimed he was dead but...they would.

I wasn't showing any concern for Israeli soldiers since those terrorists were carpet-bombing Gaza with 1-ton bombs that year, less than a decade ago.

Goldin isn't the only Israeli terrorist the IOF have killed.

And no, Israel did not "violate their territory", as shown before the Shebaa Farms are not Lebanese.

Whose land was it then?

But in a typical @skinster fashion, she will brazenly lie as a means to excuse her own racism.

Me, supporter of Palestine and BLM is being told by a supporter of Apartheid-Israel and American cops that I'm the racist.

I'm not sure about what that has to do with your claims, those two soldiers were actually extricated by the IDF.

Syria's.

I know right? Maybe you shouldn't support fascists like Bashar al Assad and other similar dictators before pretending to be antirracist. The rest is, again, fake outrage.

BLM you say? Where were you in condemning Cuban police killing Blacks? Oh wait, I recall you were just pretending it did not happen and the usual crap.

skinster wrote::lol:

Indeed, @ingliz posting fake crap is laughable. I'm still waiting for a binding document by Syria (such as a cession treaty) on this matter :)

wat0n wrote:Right, there is no animosity at all in saying that hucksterism is the religion of the Jews. Spare me this nonsense

Marx was attacking Judaism. There's nothing to suggest that Marx had any sort of racist prejudice let alone racist animosity to people of Jewish descent. He was of course of Jewish descent himself. Prior to the nineteenth century Europe was dominated by extreme class based racism.

There has been a relentless campaign of falsification to hide the extreme nature of class based racism, because it doesn't fit well either with the evil "White people" narrative or the evil Gentiles narrative. For example, in the BBC series Rome, Agrippa states that he is the son of a slave and hence a victim of discrimination. This is a lie. Agrippa was the victim of prejudice because of his plebeian origins, not because he was descended from slaves.

The upper classes thought of themselves as a race apart from the lower classes. Royalty had no ethnic cultural racism. They married freely with people from other countries without a second thought. The Russian aristocracy often didn't even speak Russian. A new cross class Cultural national racism emerged in the late nineteenth century. But even in 1900 the extreme prejudice against Sophie Chotek was because of her lowly class status, not because she was a Slav.

This is an opportunity for the questioner and his likes to celebrate yet they miss the chance. Speaks a lot of these people's intelligence and competence!

This has been happening forever really, which is why Lebanese people laughed at Israel's offer of humanitarian aid after the blast.

And you call me a warmonger. By the way, Beirut port is on fire again.

Yes, because that's exactly what you are. I wasn't supporting war in the post you quoted me, I was opposing that coming from the lunatic state that is constantly bombing various countries in between oppressing millions at home.

"Radicals only see the world in binary terms. Simple us vs them. Or good vs evil. In addresing more complex issues this way, these radicals create a window in to chaos. Government is the mastery of chaos. Radicals only create more radicals continuing the old process. A radical that saw the complexities however was in fact no true radical but a rival for leadership and must either be killed or coopted" - Worm Emperor Leto Atreidis the 2nd. :)

I think what you *actually* object to is that left-wingers have a socio-political *goal*, while anyone who's status-quo or reactionary has nothing to say because they're *guarding* things as they've plateaued, in the present.

I'll take *personal* objection to your trite generalization there, too, since I, for one, have studied *complexity theory*, specifically for the sake of my politics. It's better than traditional / 'modernist' / linear ways of thinking, and I *recommend* political people at least take a look at it and familiarize themselves with it.

And how is that going for you? The reality of things is that the only 2 socio-economic systems that are worth a damn is Communism/socialism and Liberal capitalist democracy. There is no other real alternatives right now. Well technically there are others but most of them are outdated and either miss the social or economic parts or were created in the 14th century or so.

The problem with this divide is that communism/socialism as an socio-economic system has fallen and descredited itself with the downfall of the SU. So in reality there is only 1 choice left.

While i understand your fascination with it as an alternative, it is still not gonna work, at least in its old form. I have seen the consequences and have felt the cost of it.

No, you're making it sound like capitalism is *desirable*, when we have the runaway social ill of *income inequality* today, *because* of capitalism, among many other social ills.

Well, that was actually *Stalinism*. Nothing in the Communist Manifesto called for Joseph Stalin to be put into power.

Yeah, again, that's *Stalinism* you're thinking of.

You may want to start *with* the Communist Manifesto, and you'll get an excellent vantage point on how it got to be so *distorted* / twisted / revised / revisionist, in actual history.
