In the city of Karabulak in Ingushetia, a clash had been going on for several hours between security forces and wanted armed militants in an apartment building, who were reportedly preparing terrorist attacks in crowded places in Ingushetia. This X post is from a known fake news outlet based in Poland and the descriptions of the event are biased.

@ litwin, I thought you were banned on this forum, too. You have been quiet for a week after the DP ban. It is against the rules to disseminate fake news, although some of the contents you post are real.

In the city of Karabulak (Ingushetia), clashes began between law enforcement agencies and militants. The operational headquarters of the region introduced a counter-terrorism operation (CTO) regime to suppress terrorist attacks, their consequences and protect people. URA.RU brings the main events of the incident to the morning of March 3.

FSB special forces blocked a group of militants in the house who were planning terrorist attacks. The regional operational headquarters reported that a counter-terrorism operation was being carried out in the city in connection with this. As part of it, they began to use grenades. When attempting to arrest the terrorists, they opened fire on the security forces. After this, the militants tried to escape from the surrounded house through the windows using tied sheets.

It was reported that two of them were eliminated, but the operation continued. Information about this, however, has not been officially confirmed. There was also information that the shootout was carried out by six militants, and two of them are on the international wanted list.

The terrorists who started the shootout in Ingushetia may be connected with the group that they tried to seize in the village of Zyazikov-Yurt at the end of March 2023. A similar scenario took place then. In the Malgobek district, terrorists barricaded themselves in a building and opened fire when trying to arrest them. The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Ingushetia put three alleged participants in the attack on the wanted list; one was later found dead. There is also a version that one of the current terrorists is a wanted resident of the region who took part in an attack on law enforcement officers last spring.
