Tomorrow is the seventh anniversary of the assassination of Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi, the Brother Leader, King of Kings of Africa, Ireland's beloved Colonel.

Seven years ago tomorrow a Western air strike attacked Colonel Gaddafis convoy allowing him to be captured and slaughtered by a baying mob of American mercenaries fracturing the once prosperous Libya, leaving it to the mercy of roaming bands of bloodthirsty outlaws and violent fundamentalists. Condemning the people to a life of fear and ruination.

The last true world leader was eliminated amongst a cloud of lies and deceit. We were told about Gaddafis cruelty and torture dungeons but we were not told about the million man marches showing support for Gaddafi or how his supposed army of rapist foreign mercenaries were nothing more than immigrant workers.

The western powers weren't compelled by concern for the people of Libya they didn't fear Gaddafi launching attacks with chemical weapons, they feared his sharp tongue and unwavering ability and determination to identify and speak the realities of modern geopolitics.

Gaddafi had visions of a strong unified Africa. He stood up for the causes of the oppressed and down trodden, he opposed Imperialism and western expansion. He certainly was no angel but as world leaders go he was a true hero.

Gaddafi was like most Arab leaders, too arrogant for his own good. When the time came, those he had insulted in years past, were quick on the draw. He also showed just how weak the French were, requiring the Americans to bail them out, because they had run out of ordinance for their aerial raids.

Screw him, I still remember the day reading when he went to Italy on diplomatic mission (regarding illegal immigration), where in Rome he enticed women on the streets with money to go to his seminar about benefits of Islam.

Screw him and the European establishment that tolerated his antics for so long.

He wanted to unite Africa so he was great. It seems forcing huge numbers of people to unite under one set of laws and not be allowed to govern themselves is the major requirement for greatness. Just look at the heroes we worship.

This is why he was a hero. He didn't gain anything by challenging the west. He had his principles and stood by them even if it meant one day his head would be on the chopping block.

Gaddafi brought free education and free health care to an impoverished Libya, free electricity, water to the deserts. Grants to farmers and mothers, a state owned bank that gave out interest free loans. He even proposed a programme that would see the money made from exporting oil deposited directly into the bank accounts of the Libyan people.

As for that all conquering Hillary Clinton, I hope someone shoves a bayonet up her arsehole!

The first Black president in America brought slavery back to Libya, after destroying the country along with NATO.

Slouching Towards Sirte by Max Forte is a good book on the disgusting war on Libya.

Actually, they didn't exist. The lie of Gaddafi's soldiers going house to house to rape people was exposed for what it was after Gaddafi had fallen. Even spook orgs like Amnesty International who claimed the same back-tracked on this particular lie used to justify the destruction of Libya, all covered in the book I mentioned above.
