The first system was....A dude left his cave social group and threw a rock at a mammoth. Drug a bunch of said mammoth back to the cave where he....wait for it....did not sell it. He gave it to people who, in turn, gave him a club, a pelt to wear, some children and a pretty stone. When he got sick, or did not hit the mammoth with a rock, some other people took care of him or gave him some spare mammoth. That is socialism. Not capitalism. Or...absent a government protecting oligarchs, is there a difference?
POD, you question is illogical. Capitalism evolved naturally. It was not imposed by the state. I assume you would want socialism to evolve naturally. I actually think that in a few hundred years the world will be socialist.
