Do you think you've already reached the point when you should leave this place forever instantly if Biden wins?

Sorry, not quite understanding your question. When Biden loses to Trump, it should be a time for reflection and honest soul searching among liberals. I am not a ''Conservative'' or a ''Liberal'', and am not voting for either of the major two-party picks, so there's no reason for me to ''leave'' here. In fact, perhaps my insights will be more valued.

I have consistently warned people that their obsessions with Trump out of ideological blindness would destroy everything.

Based upon these projected figures , I anticipate that Biden will win . https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/2020_elections_electoral_college_map.html#! I feel completely confident that Biden will win the popular vote , and quite possibly the electoral vote as well . Needless to say , I remain hopeful that this will be so , although I cannot be entirely sure as to how the election will unfold .

Actually no. Because if in the exceedingly small chance Biden wins, it will be entirely due to President Trump and his great hubris having alienated enough decent people that they either won't vote or they'll vote for someone else. It will have been his election to win or lose. As it is, I'm confident that my assessment of Trump winning re-election in 2020 is the correct one.

Whereas, the problems with Biden and the Democratic party rest more with ideology than with personality, there not being that much essential difference really between them and Trump politically.

My ego isn't resting on this, as it is with so many people who transfer their egos onto political parties and leaders like they do with sports teams and music idols-part of their identity. Fanaticism not rational thinking

I'm neither Liberal nor Conservative, but Socialist. I'm sure it must be emotionally gratifying to have an echo chamber at PoFo, indulging in wishful thinking and hearing only what other Liberals say, but I believe in the statement here;

''Welcome to PoliticsForum.org, the international political discussion forum.
Politics Forum is a diverse community from people around the world who share an interest in discussing the news, current affairs and politics in a sensible and mutually respectful environment. The forum is strictly non-partisan welcoming all points of view from across the board of the political spectrum.''

Especially the ''sensible and mutually respectful environment'' part.

PoFo is PoFo, the real world is the real world.

The only reason somebody should leave PoFo is that one finds no fun talking on PoFo.

I fail to see Member annatar1914 having this problem, and I highly respect his wisdom, even though I admittedly do not understand over half of his thoughts.

If he was to depart from PoFo it would be PoFo's loss, not his.

I expect Trump will look like he's losing narrowly in the electoral college but challenge every mail-in vote through the state courts, appeal every judgement that doesn't go his way, and have the Supreme Court declare him the winner.

As a matter of fact, I also fail to see the point of continuous posts of ridicule against him here.

He will certainly drag it out like hell.

Depends on the size of the defeat. I think that Republicans will loose the Senate so it will be a landslide of sorts. Basically it might be unreasonable to dispute anything because it won't matter.
