The Immortal Goon wrote:This form of, "protest," is essentially the only one allowed by the state that liberals such as yourself allow. It is, essentially, an adaptation of the, "Propaganda of the Deed," a profoundly stupid an anarchistic tactic.

Naturally Marxists would point out that breaking a window does not make you a revolutionary. But, again, that's why there is no active left to speak of. Before it was the FBI using informants and rumour to cleave wedges in organizations, it was the FBI straight up murdering organized revolutionaries; before that, it was the Pinkertons straight up shooting revolutionaries; before that, it was the American Legion hanging suspected revolutionaries; before that, it was the National Guard being deployed to shoot them all and butcher their families; before that, it was the posses put together by slave owners; before that it was the army of the republic; and before that it was the royal military.

The modern liberal state was created specifically to stifle the left.

The only way to beat it is, in fact, revolutionary action on a mass scale.

But it always strikes me as rich when liberal get butt-hurt about cowards unable or unwilling to take action; while liberal cowers behind three hundred years of licking their master's boots.

I'm reminded that all of the leaders of the Black Panther Party were either assassinated, imprisoned or fled in exile, mostly because they were forming alliances with other activist groups representing other minorities and even among white antiwar activists, as well as starting breakfast and school lunch programs and other community work that made the FBI afraid of their popularity. They were infiltrated just like all of the 60's potential revolutionaries that threatened the system.

When it comes to stifling leftwing political movements, that's the job of the Democratic Party...where all social movements go to be watered down and die. Traditionally, the Democrats felt the need to answer some of the concerns of working class Americans...but that's when unions were larger and had significant power. By the time Clinton came along, it's been the era of the "Third Way" Democrats, just like Third Way Labour of Tony Blair over in England!

This lot has nothing but contempt for workers, and that's why the Clintons, Obama and other leading Democrats talk about "the new economy" of high tech and university educated professionals. Their loss if they thought a bunch of liberal professionals are all they need for a base to win elections.

This last time, Bernie Sanders got a lot of young people excited that they might..somehow...be able to change the Democratic Party. But, Sanders's continued bowing to the Party elites and endorsing Clinton, lead many to think that he was just the Dems latest "sheepdog" candidate: a left of center candidate tossed up to keep leftwing Democrats engaged(and not abandoning the Party). If Sanders wasn't there last year, would the left have got down to business and coalesced behind one of the third parties to start building up into a real people's movement? Who knows! But the Democrats game of taking corporate money/trying to win with a few liberal social issues is probably coming to an end.
