This would have the same response from Bible Thumpers if this was a Bible, or from Americans, if this was a flag.

This is stupid, and those people should be ashamed of themselves for being such stupid cunts.

Neither bible thumpers nor flag wavers would go as far as sending a suicide squad round though.

There is being offended at sacrilege and then there is being suicidally & murderously offended at sacrilege.

Apparently to win your respect one must be the latter.

If you showed a couple of Christians from the 6th century a person degrading the Bible you'll get calls for their executions and even having them be tortured. It's not as if this is Islam exclusive and you are aware of this. If you talked to anyone who even is remotely knowledgeable on the issues of the Middle East, you would know that Wahhabism is the most widespread flavor of Islam and that many countries in the Middle East sponsor and enforce Wahhabism to such a degree that these countries have made it into a semi-intergral part of those country's culture. Countries are suffering due to this as displayed by the current crisis in Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq.

All religions advocate for some form of rape and terror. Terror, in particular, is key for the perpetuation of religion as without it, religion would either become too broad and thus become meaningless or too narrow and be unable to use it's power. Religions are simply cults that have become a part of a wider society and culture. They are not powers in it of themselves.

Ah, I keep on forgetting to exclude Lebanon. Lebanon does however have homegrown radical Sunni groups that are influenced by Wahhabism however which does influence the sectarianism of Lebanon as of late.

Also I agree, the Syrian Rebel Groups are just a bunch of modern barbarians literally. Assad's government is better than them and that's saying a lot given that Assad is just a puppet controlled by his military.

The only one is Al-Aseer, whom while he is Lebanese, his followers are almost entirely focused in the Palestinian camps as he works with Hamas, and he recently was arrested and if I remember correctly sentenced to death.

Other than that, there aren't many Salafist groups in Lebanon. There are tribal conflicts in some areas that in many cases are reported as sectarian conflicts due to difference in religious or political affiliation (mainly in Tripoli), but those have entirely different background that goes back to District administrative partitioning under the French mandate which remained to this day as it unjustly distributed powers between groups.

The main sectarian divide in Lebanon that is entirely based on religion and has a long history is between Maronite Christians and Druze.
There were a divide between the Sunnis and Shias specially during the civil war when the PLO (Palestinian liberation organization) and other Islamist groups started attacking and committing massacres against the Shias, but all those groups are gone; Either expelled from the country or simply dead or in prison.
The Current Sunni-Shia divide is mainly political. As in 2 political parties fighting through political campaigns to who gets which ministry under its control.
Its for the money they'll get to steal from the government to put it simply. And its not limited to them.

Other than that, if there aren't any campaigns going on, then they set down and talk normally.

Though recently the refugee crisis is on debate, but most sides agree they want the refugees to return to Syria or atleast establish a safe zone to put them . As there are too many, and the country is too small to have all of them. Specially since there are a number of safe places in Syria right now, mainly Tartus as thats where the Russian base is, and the city have much larger capacity than its using.
I mean heck, the number of refugees in Lebanon is equal to half of the population. There is a point where its just way too much.

You do happen to realize that, although the Quran does state that Mohammed is the most perfect human being it also states that every single human being is flawed in some way including Mohammed which makes the idea of "the most perfect human being" not meaning much. In the Quran, Mohammed is tricked by Satan once and also asks God for forgiveness for everything he has done in one Surah. Mohammed is perfect according to the Quran for his ability to not commit any major sins, it does not state that he isn't flawed in any shape or form. According to the Quran, Mohammed is perfect as a human being, he does not transcend the boundaries of that perfection as, according to the Quran, only God is the most perfect entity in existence.

On an outside note, the interpretation that Mohammed is the most perfect thing in existence would be against the reasons why Mohammed made Islam in the first place. Although we have very little actual evidence of Mohammed's life, we can make a set of certain assumptions. First that Mohammed was, at birth, a polytheist and that polytheism continued to be a part of his identity throughout his life, even when he created Islam. Second, that Mohammed later became a Christian and eventually a Nestorian. He was one of many scholars who criticized mainstream Christianity (well, whatever was mainstream Christianity at the time) for placing Jesus on such a high level of divinity, making him the son of God. This lead to Mohammed joining Nestorianism which later proved too limiting for his ideas and beliefs. So he made a completely new religion called Islam and preached it's message to the people of Mecca and then everything else happened. Now the reason why Nestorianism was too limiting for his ideas and beliefs was because he believed that Jesus wasn't the son of God or even the Messiah but that Jesus was simply a prophet, a human prophet just like those before him and that nothing was more divine, virtuous, and perfect than God. This is why, when Mohammed wrote the Quran, he made sure that he was just some prophet. Yeah, he called himself the "greatest most super-duper awesome" prophet and the "most perfect" human being but did stick to beliefs most of the time.

Until he went to Medina at least.

Misogyny because two people are being stupid cunts? Would you preferred if I had called them stupid cocks, or would that be misandry? You're trolling. Piss off.

Would it be too obvious to point out that this isn't the 6th century? Back in the 6th century bibles were rare and precious things, printing hadn't been invented yet, they were reproduced laboriously at the hands of relatively rarely skilled professionals, monkish calligraphers. Back then trashing a bible was equivalent to taking an axe to a italian supercar or a singular piece of art just on a material level never mind any religious sentimentality.

By the time of the printing press Christianity had cooled off a lot on the penalties for bible bashing. Protestants in particular didn't care at all for this kind of "sacrilege" for not only were bibles relatively cheap and abundant courtesy of the printing press but they didn't hold with the idea that objects could be sacred in themselves (that was more of a catholic superstition).

Muslims have been cheaply printing Korans almost as long as Christians have been printing bibles, no? Moreover I believe the Koran in the OP was one of these cheap disposable printed korans rather than some priceless hand drawn heirloom from ancient times.

I was actually debating a post last week about how people are so totally chill with burning/desecrating the Koran or drawing Muhammad (it is only a book! It is only a picture!), but completely lose their shit when someone kneels during the national anthem, and that isn't getting into fucking up the Bible or burning flags (neither of which I would really support, the exception of old/damaged American flags needing to be burned ceremonially in retirement).
