Are we playing Proletariat Olympics?!

Lol. Yes, you are note prole than me. You win.

I also am an Allendista and not a Stalinist, so you get more points for being more extreme.

If we count by how many years each if us has been out on scaffolding, I think I am still ahead by a little bit.

If we count current jobs, that would depend on whether stay at home parents are part of the proletariat.

Do I get or lose points for being a red diaper baby?

It is called being prolier than thou, not Proletariat Olympics.

Anyway treason wipes out anything that you did before, they second that you stab you colleagues in the back and raise yourself up over them you lose anything that you ever had. A worker rises with his class not above it. If you wanted more money you should have done more union activity not took a promotion.

I suppose once a conquistador always a conquistador.

I recon you are that one at the back with the whip and the site manager is the one on the horse.

Is an architectural technician part of the proletariat?

The only part of the means of production that I own is my brain, which can be said of anyone who has to think about their work. This includes tradespeople and craftspeople. On the other hand, the labour I provide is intellectual labour: technical designs, construction drawings, site supervision, and inspections. This is more like the professional class. Some architectural technicians also do research. This involves lab work like setting walls on fire. Cool, right? This seems more like the intellectual class.

I am of the notion that intellectuals and professionals can be socialists even if they are not part of the proletariat class. This is supported by historical fact. Castro was a lawyer, and Guevara was a doctor. Both were part of the bourgeoisie or upper class. Allende was an aristocrat. In the other direction, many working class people manage to get into post secondary education and become professionals and intellectuals while maintaining their proletariat consciousness. Needless to say, there are also intellectuals and professionals who are capitalists.

Anyway, you to your slogans and I to my blueprints, we will see who changes the world more.

You know exactly what part of that it is I have a problem with and it is intellectually dishonest to pretend otherwise. I bet you try and make people sign in at the time they actually arrive instead of half an hour before and sign out when they actually leave instead of half an hour afterwards.

There is only one man who had the moral authority and intellectual ability to be the foreman of the vast masses of the global working class and he was a humble shoemaker's son not some posh fox hunter like Allende. Sadly he has passed on and the world has never saw his like again.

As for setting walls on fire, if I set any of the site on fire I would be fired myself! More proof of the unjustified privileges enjoyed by the idle suit wearing desk sitting class.

I never look at time sheets. That would be the job of the site superintendent.

He does have an impressive mustache.

Almost as imoressive as Castro’s beard.

Don’t give me any of that.

Every working class person I know would love a job where they got paid to set things on fire.

And some working class people can do this job because of socialist education policies like state subsidised PSE.

I am not on the side of anyone who sits in the site office all day tugging themselves while the real men are out on the scaffold.

You detest him because he took a promotion?

Cuban scientist sentenced to one year in prison for 'disrespecting' government authority

Cuban biologist Ariel Ruiz Urquiola wanted to start an eco-friendly project on his farm in Viñales, a mountainous region west of Havana. But now those plans are on hold because he was sentenced to one year in prison for “disrespecting” officials.

The alleged crime? He called a Forest Ranger a “rural guard.”

Americans are so unlucky to get their "information" from businessmen with an interest in lying.

It's why the country is almost tits-up bankrupt and bombing half of the world.
