@noir

Noir, kissing people on the cheek is common practice for everyone in MENA, and its irrespective of gender as well. It’s a universal part of Middle Eastern culture.

I have to say, exactly what worse have you seen from other MENA leaders do? Kissing someone on the cheek isn’t is murder and rape. Grow up.

It’s Erdogan being fucking Erdogan. Screwing up the lives of everyone he touches. He’s destroying Turkey by the second. He’s the most Donald Trump-esque asshat I’ve ever seen and that’s the reason for me hating him so much. He’s so stupid it hurts for me to realize I live in the same region as him, breathing the same air.

It'd be nice to have someone who spoke Turkish, because I fucking doubt that this is what was said.

Good things you guys aren't Islamophobic twats, who regularly post anti-Islamic propaganda, eh?

Gee, maybe you could learn Turkish yourself, Godstud.

Until then I'm gonna assume that the translation given by multiple independent sources is accurate.

After this? In the past, Europe was reluctant to let Turkey to join EU because of the "culture gap" and the fear of free movements in their midst, but the gap is diminishing. Today Europe has widespread polygamy and Female genital mutilation, compare to this Turkey is suddenly seen relatively civilized. The changing of its ethnic make up will make Turkey even more acceptable and less "alien". The voting process will going to change Europe. To assure this, Turkey is pushing more migrants into Europe (while blocking others). The Sultan is very clever.

Meh.

Very good example to explain what "scrapping the bottom of the barrel" means.

I would advice those people who are keen on vilifying Erdogan, or Turks , or Muslims, or Martians to choose their arguments smartly.

Alas, one needs to have a functional brain to start smart arguments., though.

Never mind what I said before.

Carry on. 8)

It's all semantics. He's destabilizing the region with his expansion mission. The funny thing about this question is the way he loves to champion the Palestinian cause "under occupation" while oppressing the Kurds. On the other hand, the Palestinians themselves are not giving a fuck about other "occupied" peoples and they support the opressing of Kurds (just as they support the occuption of Kuwait by Saddam). Erdogan is one of the most adored leaders there.

Fascinating you want to bring the Palestinians into this. All about Israel is it in your mind? That would go with you trying to suggest that Erdogen is destabilising the region when that has already been done and it has already been all but destroyed due to American and Friend's Clean Break - and who was that for, oh of course Israel - yes I think I get where you are coming from.

Syria: Kurdish mother of 4 YPG fighters is sending a message 2 Erdogan. "I have four sons, all of them are on the front lines and I am ready to lose all of them in the defence of Kurdistan. If they are martyred, I will myself pick up their guns & fight you here in Afrin".

Everyone does it to everyone.
How the fuck is this molestation ? Are you retarded ?

You have defended child marriages in previous discussions and admitted that sexual relations between adults and dependent children are widely accepted in the ME.

It's not possible to say if Erdogan himself indulges in pedophilia since anybody reporting on it would be thrown into jail or be assassinated. We do, however, know that he is closely associated with persons and organisations, like Ensar Foundation, which are known for pedophelia:

In the city of Karaman 45 boys have been exposed to sexual abuse while staying in Ensar foundation related home and dormitories. According to the indictment, the assaults started in 2012 and continued until last year. The children say they were aged between 10 and 12 years old when they were first abused.

The lawyer for five of the children’s families, Oktay Yilmaz, finds it very difficult to talk about what the children went through.

One of the students resisted his family to go school and family asked for help from a psychiatrist. The child confessed to psychiatrist watching animal porn with his teacher and psychiatrist reported that to police.

Erdogan has gone full retard. In schools, he has replaced the teaching of evolution with the teaching of jihad. He decided to abort the peace process with the Kurds and bomb Kurdish villages to gain a majority in the last election. Now he invades neighboring Syria to bomb the Kurds there in order to win next year's elections. Following his invasion of Afrin, his approval ratings have climbed to 80%.

I don't know how leftists in the forum can defend this.

The army was the sole thing that stood between Turkey and a radical Islamist state. Why, oh why, did we not support the coup? The military coup was justified against Erdogan's coup against the secular republic, against civil society and against democracy.

The reason the Turks did not support the Coup seemed to be a mixture of what Coups had done to them before and what a Coup did to Egypt. They said regardless of how bad it is, a coup is always worse.
