Macron got a huge boost before the elections because the US alt-right tried to meddle with the French presidential election.

The French don't mind Americans but they don't like it when they meddle with the French political system.

Many French who didn't really like Macron voted for him just to spite the Yanks, who were meddling.

Le Pen isn't very smart. That seems to be in the family.

It is unfortunate that the middle class have taken the sting out of the word racist. It used to mean someone who actually was racist. Now they use it for people who want to police their nations borders (that was everyone on the left and on the right just a few decades ago) and it is used against people who don't think anymore people should be imported into a country while the people already there are without homes and jobs. The blanket use of it against anyone opposed to free markets and open borders has obviously made it something of a nothing term. This kind of speech would have been unthinkable in the past (well it would have been unthinkable that anyone would have took it seriously).

Bannon: "This movement can not be explained by the old left and right paradigm, this is how they divide us, by labeling us left and right".

Bannon’s visit to France is the third stop on his European tour. On Tuesday, Bannon spoke with Alice Weidel, leader of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

The two met in Zurich, where Bannon was speaking at a sold-out event about “the populist revolts and their global consequences [sic] for Switzerland, Europe, and America,” according to the DPA news agency. His remarks also included a crusade against “limousine liberals” and “the Clinton mafia,” Politico reported. The talk was hosted by the conservative Swiss weekly Weltwoche.

Weidel’s office said that Bannon, the former executive chairman of conservative news website Breitbart, could offer expertise in the areas of political strategy and alternative media channels. That meeting came after Bannon flew to Italy ahead of last Sunday’s national election, lending his support to anti-establishment and populist parties. The result, which saw the anti-establishment Five Star Movement (M5S) and the right-wing Lega party emerge victorious, were pleasing to Bannon, who called it an “earthquake” for Europe.

“This is just a populist victory and should send a massive signal to the permanent political class in Rome and more importantly to the permanent political class in Brussels that people want change,” Bannon told Weltwoche following the Italian election.

This marks something of a comeback for Bannon. In January, Trump called his former staffer “Sloppy Steve” and said he had been “dumped like a dog by almost everyone.”

Bannon's European tour's last stop was France, and he also lent his support to Germany's Alternative for Germany (AfD) party and Italy's Five Star Movement (M5S). The M5S has had a series of meetings with Russian officials, while no proof has emerged showing Russian financing of the movement. The National Front and the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party are controlled by Moscow. In early February, a group of representatives of Germany's Alternative for Germany (AfD) party arrived in Crimea on a six-day visit. I would not be surprised if Bannon is exposed as a Russian agent. The FBI's Russian-influence probe includes a look at Breitbart.

National Front adviser Jean Messiha claims that Marine Le Pen's loan from a Russian bank has 'nothing to do with politics'. But Marine Le Pen described Vladimir Putin as a "defender of the Christian heritage of European civilisation" and she has met with Putin personally in Moscow, expressing strong support for Russia's seizure of Crimea. Jobbik in Hungary, Golden Dawn in Greece, and the Northern League in Italy are known to be funded by Russia, too. For instance, a member of Hungary's Jobbik party has been charged with spying on European Union institutions for Russia as they are supposed to return the favor.

Bollocks! Where did you get that nonsense from? They are anti-establishment. They'll side with anybody as long as it helps them to piss at their own government. And Putin never turns down useful idiots.

They are pro-Moscow like islamophobic neo-nazies are pro-women's rights and gay rights, if they can manage to refrain from beating their wives and random gays for long enough.

And if in the process you get called a racist, oh well. At least you still have your honor.

Being called a racist is becoming a ‘badge of honor’ today. If a liberal calls you a racist, you know you just expressed a reasonable view they have no logical response to.

Racist can't adapt reality to their warped perception, so they try to change the concepts denoting reality for good to mean bad and vice versa. They have lost their meaning, next they will lose their mind.
