You are correct. Young Black males commit over half the murders and robberies. They only commit about 25% of the rest of the crime.

We actually do not know that considering arrests aren't convictions, and Africans have been know to been mass jailed for false charges from bias judges and police forces which have been know to control by white supremacists like yourself. And considering your sources are from the same organization that trump and the fox news have long discredit as liars.

I found it highly suspect for you to use fake sources to suit your bigotry needs, especially since you clearly want Blacks to commit crimes.

Knife murders are higher stateside: there were 4.96 homicides “due to knives or cutting instruments” in the US for every million of population in 2016.

In Britain there were 3.26 homicides involving a sharp instrument per million people in the year from April 2016 to March 2017.

Let's not pretend London can compare to anywhere in America. Knife killings are now a daily occurrence. The situation in London has become exceedingly dire. The former British ambassador to the US has recently been beaten up at Victoria railway station. Sadiq Khan has not done anything about it. But let's be honest, all of the establishment parties if elected will sit there idle allowing the crime rate to get even worse.

It doesn't matter. You are trying to defend London against New York but that's not much of a standard to compare against. America is a crime ridden land of lawlessness and misery. We all know it. London as a major European city should not be filled with such criminality.

I know people from London are very defensive of their city. I have no idea why. But it's a typical attitude in the UK, see a problem and not believe anything can be done about it. It's just the way it is apparently.

I would not put much faith in either list, since they both have New York as the safest US city. This site lists 15 US cities safer than New York even though it says New York has more violent crime than any other US city.

It's hard to believe the tories have come to this, but it's an apparent fact now. As I said in another thread, I'm beginning to suspect that there is a cocaine epidemic among the establishment that's probably as serious as the opioid epidemic in the mass population. The establishment routinely embraces, to a sober mind, what seem to be the stupidest ideas possible.

We even made switch blades with two popsicle sticks and rubber bands. American cultural influence on the UK and the rest of the Anglosphere has been ever increasing since the 1920s. There are luckily still some British customs and traditions that remain and probably will never disappear.

I agree, the UK's withdrawal from the EU will result in a much more insular Anglo-Saxon mentality and it will include Anglo-Saxon liberal traditions such as Thatcherism, the idea of a global mercantile Britain and a general libertarian mentality. There will probably be more immigration from the Commonwealth to replace migration from continent which will further destabilise British society. There will be an aggressive foreign policy in Asia, Eastern European Europe and a lot more support for the State of Israel. All of this will be sold under right wing British policy when really it will not promote any sort of real social cohesion.

The British leftist tradition which has made England far more livable than the USA will be marginalised and this could threaten the future of institutions like the NHS.

Sadiq Khan banned stop and search to protect minority Asian kids who are more likely to be stopped by the police as the first Asian mayor in London. London's knife crime epidemic will be brought under control effectively if police officers can resume stop and search as they used to do back in the 2000s. I had never heard of knife crimes in London back then as a student, when Boris Johnson was in charge. Sadiq Khan recently stated the following:

“Let me be clear - there is no reason to carry a knife. To anyone who does - they will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law. 35 people have been charged for murder offences occurring during 2018 so far. We need communities, families, friends and neighbours to give us the information we need to bring these criminals to justice.”
