Godstud wrote:Yes, it's so stupid that they punish people for breaking laws.

Manafort hasn't been convicted of anything.

Godstud wrote:It's funny how the right-wing conservatives balk when their SJW Tommy Robinson is jailed. Suddenly the very conservative rule of law, is unjust and unfair.

Tommy Robinson is a political prisoner.

Albert wrote:All this is a sign of people who were defeated on intellectual grounds; who are now trying to suppress what is coming up.

They are failing badly. As I said awhile back, I wouldn't fire Mueller because he's his own worst enemy. He just had to fire another staffer for rabidly anti-Trump political views.

Godstud wrote:Manafort? - The indictment contains 12 counts: conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

I'm pretty sure most conservatives wouldn't look all that favorably on the government violating banking secrecy. That was done by socialists. Do you believe in bank secrecy, or do you think we should have to report every penny we have to the government?

Steve_American wrote:As is an opinion that Hillary murdered dozens of people.

Nobody thinks Hillary murdered people. Muder is doing the unthinkable. Politics is getting others to do the unthinkable for you.

Steve_American wrote:Mueller was appointed Special Prosecutor [SP] by the Trump administration.

By Rod Rosenstein.

Steve_American wrote:I find the idea that there is conspiracy to create evidence, use that evidence to get a SP put in place, then use more fake evidence to charge the friends of Trump with crimes, and that actual judges go along with this; I find the idea that this is a conspiracy to be somewhat ridiculous.

Comey already admitted to Congress under oath to leaking information to the press to get a special counsel appointed. It's not a secret.

Steve_American wrote:There are to many people involved who have too much to lose if the real truth ever came out.

That is why the FBI and DoJ are stonewalling Congressional subpoenas.

Steve_American wrote:Neither he nor you understand the checks and balances system we have in America.

There is no check between the Executive branch and the Executive branch. He can shut it down when it serves his interest. Right now, the establishment is looking absolutely corrupt. It's a finger trap: the harder they pull, the tighter the trap gets. They don't want to stop their phony investigation of Trump, but the more they do it, the more it blows up in their face.

Steve_American wrote:The root of Trumps problem is that enough Repubs in Congress and maybe the Senate would be able to look at the real evidence and see that if Trumps fires the SP then he has to GO. It is as simple as that.

That's changing rapidly. Mueller's polling is well below Trump's now.

Steve_American wrote:If this were not the case then Trump would just fire the SP and appoint one of his many exlawyers to replace him and his problems would all be solved. That he doesn't do this shows that he can't!!

They are busy destroying themselves now. So it's better to let them do that.

I am well aware of that, but he will.

Blackjack21 wrote:Tommy Robinson is a political prisoner.
He is in jail because he committed a crime, and broke the conditions of his previous sentence. I know you feel like he should be a political prisoner, but he's not.

I do not believe in banking secrecy, when it is done to commit crimes. Too much money is laundered and taxes evaded by this, and that is why even Swiss banks account no longer have banking secrecy when it comes to criminal behavior. Ever heard of warrants? They can get that information with a warrant.

Like Tom Delay. In the end, many of the actions against Manafort will probably be subsequently overturned. Democrats will not want to set a political precedent that can be used against them. After all, Hillary Clinton did far worse and should be under indictment herself if it weren't for corruption at the highest levels of the DoJ and FBI, the media, etc.

Godstud wrote::lol: I understand completely. You have no evidence but you "feel" it's the truth.

My side, the one wanting law and order and justice, lost? How so? Tommy's in jail and Manafort will be, soon. Your idea of losing is very strange.

If I may speak for Albert, now that he has left (if he will not be back),
What he means is that the people voted for Trump and therefore for what he stands for. This is MAGA by keeping the whites in charge and keeping Muslims and Latinos out. By bringing back good factory jobs by fair trade replacing unfair trade.
Not only did the people vote for Trump now but, they will keep voting for candidates like Trump.
Albert thinks that his side is obviously the wave of the future.

OK, if I understand him right; he is just wrong. While I do a little bit sympathize with him on the new PC attitude that any and every negative thing said about any group of brown people is *racism* and THEREFORE, MUST NOT BE TOLERATED. IT IS HATE SPEECH and allowing HATE SPEECH in the name of free speech IS "THE END OF THE WORLD".
. . That said, the rest of Albert's ideas are, I hope, massively wrong.
. . . I hope that the American people do not agree with Albert. I really, really do not think that the American people agree with him. The last election was not a sign of the future, rather it was a mistake in that many voters bought into the fake news stuff. Just enough that Trump won.

And Trump won because Hillary was a bad candidate who ran a bad campaign. That cutting Bernie out like that caused many Dems to stay home.
. . . The Dems need to get their heads out of the ass's of the 1% and get back to being the party of the people.
. . . On Mount. Rushmore there are 4 heads. All of them are seen as being part of the "party of the people". Washington and Jefferson because they founded the nation. Jefferson with the Deceleration of Independence and Washington with the Constitution and the early years of the Gov. followed by him stepping down. Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt because they were also for the people over the slaveholders and the gilded rich trust makers. To them I would add FDR for his New Deal.
. . . The Democratic Party needs to go back to being the party of the people. If they do they will win easily. But, they need to get their head out of the rich's asses. Both the Clintons were leaders that lead the party into the hands of the 1% so that they could get the $$$ from them. when they did that they fell into the trap the 1% had made; the trap that neutered "the party of the people".

All those leaders must go, or they must repent.
