Masters of the Universe: 400+ WashPo Employees Sign Letter to Jeff Bezos Asking for Better Pay, Benefits

Fake News outlet, the Washington Post, wants their owner/boss, Jeff Bezos, the Richest Man in the World™, to provide them with more money. One even once a severance package that "won't require me to give up my legal rights" (to sue the Washington Post after receiving a severance). It seems Jeff Bezos, the Richest Man in the World™, is very greedy and doesn't want to give the Fake News workers more than a $10 per week raise.

Working conditions at Bezos’ other company, Amazon, have also been criticized, with employees reportedly being worked to “exhaustion” while trying to fulfill “impossible” targets, and even urinating into bottles and trash cans for fear of being sanctioned over bathroom breaks.

This is what it's like to work for a liberal and the Richest Man in the World™. Should Bezos give them what they want, or should he replace them with illegal aliens who don't have any legal rights?

Bezos is a "liberal" in the narrow sense he's a capitalist. Just want to emphasize this doesn't make him a part of the left. It doesn't even make him a social democrat. He's just an effin liberal. Similar cautions should apply to Soros, Buffett, Zuckerburg, Musk, Bloomberg, et al.

Billionaires are more narrowly constrained by self-interest than the guy sweeping the floors in a warehouse. A poor guy may choose to sacrifice his interest for his fellow man, but a billionaire cannot do so.

Bezos could pay his warehouse workers more. He could let them have bathroom breaks. He could treat them like human beings. But he would be a different person then - a person who never would have "accomplished" the feat of destroying the retail infrastructure of the US.

Our economy regularly spins off these characters. You cannot classify them as good or bad people. They are not on your side or your enemy's side. They fill a function, and cannot step outside of their function.
