So that would be just normal in Russia, huh? I don't see how dragging her out of her apartment and putting her through legal proceedings would make any sense in any real lawful country.

Americans really need to get it thought their skulls that there is no such thing as freedom of speech in the UK and there never has been, the UK is not the USA. Normal people avoid the police whenever it is possible with good reason. I can't imagine why anyone would go up to copper and actually talk to him. What did she expect?
