In the final analysis the Washington Post fumbled the Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi headline three times; first, referring to him as the Islamic State's terrorist-in-chief," to "Austere Religious Scholar," and then finally, to "Extremist Leader."

The Times of London meanwhile called al-Baghdad "A promising young footballer and a student of the Koran who became a terrorist, mass murderer and the world's most-wanted man."

And most unbelievably:

Speaking on CBS "Face the Nation," President Obama's Jt. Chiefs Vice Chair James Winnefeld slammed Trump for "piling humiliation" on ISIS after the operation.

"If you look back at the bin Laden raid, we treated his body with respect that is due under Islam," he said.

Sure, the White House should have brought back a shred of an organ (no guessing which pleases libtards most) to the White House for a sombre Muslim funeral prayer. After all, he was behind the genocide of Christians and Yazidis in Syria and was fighting that "butcher Assad".

Obama and Hillary would have approved it. Come to think of it, both are rather silent at the moment.

The guy was just a pawn of the neocon-zionist-saudi axis of evil. Almost the entire ISIS leadership came out of Camp Bucca.

Camp Bucca has been described as playing an important role in shaping the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.[85] The detention of large numbers of Ba'athists and Islamists during the Iraqi insurgency provided them with the opportunity to forge alliances and learn from each other, combining the ideological fervour of the latter with the organizational skills of the former.[86][87] Former Camp Bucca detainees who went on to become leaders in the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant include Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the former leader of the ISIL before his death in October 2019; Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, spokesperson and senior ISL leader; Abu Muslim al-Turkmani, al-Baghdadi's deputy; Haji Bakr, who spearheaded ISIL's expansion into Syria; Abu Abdulrahman al-Bilawi, the military leader responsible for planning the seizure of Mosul; and Abu Ayman al-Iraqi, another senior military leader.[86] Abu Mohammad al-Julani, who founded the Syrian Al Qaeda affiliate al-Nusra Front, was also a Camp Bucca detainee.[88]I
