In the following video Jonathan Haidt (social psychologist who specializes in the psychology of morality) explains how the left-regressives on college campuses are playing another game than traditional liberal academics. Whereas the one engages in dialectics in order to determine the truth through a process of exchange of ideas (and criticism), the other seeks to take out the opponent by any means necessary in order to silence their political opposition. He compares it to tennis players getting tackled by football players in a game of tennis.

The re-definition of terms such as racism and introduction of new terms such as white privilege, white fragility, etc. are examples of these strategies in order to maximize the likelihood of getting a 'conviction' whenever these left-regressives accuse others of the modern day equivalent to witchcraft (racism). They do not seek to better their understanding, instead they seek to take out their opponents. The same thing has been seen on this forum as is habitually practiced by the more 'challenged' debaters on this forum.

Haidt is among the best out there. He used to be on the left and then decided to study why some people are conservative. This moved him to the center where he can provide logical analysis.

Everyone is the victim if open-discussions are shut down by dummies regurgitating the left-wing talking points they barely understand.

Attacking whites, men, and heterosexuals, is an excellent way to make sure we're divided enough to rule over. And the word "racist" has particularly been amended to mean just about anything the person uses it wants it to mean.

Many of us have witnessed people being accused of "racism" because they attempted to speak about racism. This ensures that real racism never gets addressed. Likewise, banning politicians "the left" doesn't like from speaking, prevents local leftists from confronting other ideologies with challenging questions.

It's almost like an entire section of "the left" is there to ensure that it is ignorant and ineffective in addressing the narratives of other political persuasions. And who would doubt that this group might be heavily influenced by media, memes, and groups that are affiliated with the other side of the aisle.
