WRONG

US Patriot Act of 2001: terrorist activities include • threatening, conspiring or attempting to hijack airplanes, boats, buses or other vehicles. •
threatening, conspiring or attempting to commit acts of violence on any "protected" persons, such as government official

U.S. Army Manual definition terrorism is the "calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear. It is intended to coerce or intimidate governments or societies ... [to attain] political, religious, or ideological goals."

U.S. Army Field Manual No. FM 3-0, Chapter 9, 37 (14 June 2001). Department of Defense Dictionary of Military Terms defines terrorism as: The calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological

From Encyclopedia Brittanica

Terrorism involves the use or threat of violence and seeks to create fear, not just within the direct victims but among a wide audience. The degree to which it relies on fear distinguishes terrorism from both conventional and guerrilla warfare.

And this was not a threat to hijack anything or hurt anyone.

But if you really think this was terrorism, please call the police and let us know how it worked.

I note that you support the Patriot Act.

So the fact that no one is scared by these words suggest that these words are not terrorism.

This site does not belong to you, Big Shot. Spam is repetition and I have not repeated anything. You are wrong again.

A federal court on Monday set a hearing for Derek Chauvin to change his plea, signaling that the former Minneapolis police officer who was convicted of murdering George Floyd intended to plead guilty to charges that he also deprived Mr. Floyd of his civil rights.

Change his plead to Guilty? What does that do?
#15202814
@Rancid

A plea deal would most likely bring a lighter sentence than a conviction after a trial, which could send him to prison for life. Pleading guilty could also allow him to serve his sentence in a federal prison, which could keep him from crossing paths with inmates in state prison whom he might have helped send there.

I see.

They say state prison is far worse than federal in terms of all the fucked up shit that happens like fighting, deaths, rape, etc. etc.

If you have to go to prison, you want club fed.

The original trial was in state court, not Federal court and murder is a state charge. This civil rights charge is a new matter, not a change of anything. Where is the link to the article???

Agreed. Maybe being concerned with the January 66'ers who did kiĺl police and damaged the senate would be a better target for acrimony

For someone so obsessed with BLM, you show a disturbing ignorance.

Are you sure there's a place for you here?

It's right here, dimwit. Chauvin was convicted in Minnesota state court

https://mncourts.gov/StateofMinnesotavDerekChauvin

Since he was already sentenced there, he cannot change his plea.
You are babbling nonsense.

He was tried in Federal Court on civil rights charges, here

You really got the whole thing screwed up. YOu need remedial reading.

The Jan 6 rioters attacked the House of Representatives, not the Senate, and they did not kill anybody.

@ArthurTandy1

He originally told the court he was pleading not guilty on the civil rights charge. What you linked to was the charging hearing back in June. It hasn't come to trial yet. On the 13th of December, a court notice was published noting he had changed his mind.

It's you who needs to attend a remedial reading class.
