Or... are you going to attempt to do what Stanford University failed to do, and get Pofo to ban words you deem offensive?

Amid Backlash, Stanford Pulls ‘Harmful Language’ List
The 13-page guide contained more than 150 words and phrases organized into 10 categories of harmful language: ableist, ageism, colonialism, culturally appropriative, gender-based, imprecise language, institutionalized racism, person-first, and violent words and phrases. Words and phrases such as “brave,” “seminal,” “American,” “take a shot at,” “no can do” and “submit” were deemed harmful.

“Brave,” according to the guide, was deemed harmful for perpetuating stereotypes of the “noble courageous savage.” (The guide did not recommend a replacement for this word.) Instead of “seminal,” readers were encouraged to use “leading” or “groundbreaking,” so as not to reinforce male-dominated language. Instead of “American,” the guide recommended “U.S. citizen,” to avoid insinuating that the U.S. dominates the Americas. The guide also recommended that “give it a go” take the place of “take a shot at” to avoid violent imagery. “No can do,” per the guide, should be replaced by “I can’t do it,” since the former originated from stereotypes that mocked nonnative English speakers. The guide recommended replacing “submit” with “process,” as the latter “can imply allowing others to have power over you.”

Your objection reminds me of those that object to the 227 rules of a Theravada Buddhist monk. To the outsider these rules seem preposterous, probably contradictory, impossible to keep and requiring a continual focus and consumption of energy. But to the Orthodox Buddhist believer that is the point. What better use of your life could there be than following the Buddhist path. What could be nobler than this continual mindfulness of the rules? And from a Buddhist point of view this is a small price to pay to redeem your karmic debt for all your evil acts over countless lifetimes.

You find this passionate fanaticism in many places, hard core followers of the Torah, extremist Vegans and of course some types of radical Christians. Some Muslim ideologues state quite explicitly that our purpose in life is not to pursue happiness but to serve Allah.

From the woke point of view the fact that following the rules is hard frustrating, even impossible is the whole point. White people deserve to have their lives made more difficult. Their view is, that White people's whine about the rules of political correctness, they should mediate on the life of a Black African Slave in the Deep South trying to follow the demands of a capricious slave master.

I use Left and Right as this:
Left= Progressive
Right = Conservative

They are not (Left)Communists vs (Right)Fascists. Both are terrible ends in their applications.

Left and Right can both be Fascist in their ideology, however, so we need to stifle the ideological extremists.
I am not actually sure which side of the political spectrum started it, or even if it matters. I do remember, from my own lifetime how the social conservative culture warrior right utilized " cancel culture" for its own purpose. It was the reason why for instance I wasn't allowed as a child to shop at Kmart. You see, at the time Kmart owned as a subsidiary Walden Books, which was notable for selling pornography. So, rightfully or not, a boycott was declared. This was followed up with a later boycott of Disney in the 90's , and in the 2000's of Target, first by the LGBT activists , and then conversely by the Christian right. So this matter of trying to enforce some code of conduct upon society at large has now come full circle. And I for one do acknowledge that, in terms of methodology more so than ideology, there have been political cults of the left as well as the right. It's just that those on the Marxist left, such as myself, like to term such ideological deviations as being " dogmatic political sectarianism" , in our own special jargon. https://greensboro.com/church-boycotts-kmart-for-porn/article_e4905ead-586e-59d2-acec-38b255635493.html , https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2022/04/18/disney-boycott-theme-parks-lgbtq/ , https://variety.com/2022/film/news/disney-desantis-dont-say-gay-southern-baptist-1235224362/ , https://www.newsweek.com/targets-political-donations-republicans-backfired-1804374 , https://www.cbsnews.com/news/target-apologizes-for-controversial-political-donation/ , https://freedomofmind.com/yes-there-are-left-wing-destructive-cults/ , https://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/dogmatism , https://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/sectarianism
