If only more nations felt so humiliated by their own dictatorships(official or "democratic"), maybe things would be different alltogether and it wouldn't be only the Greeks coming off as outlandish and incomprehensible, whenever their perceived freedoms came under threat, real or imagined, however Northern types and especially the Brits have a certain fix(slavish or serf disposition i would call it) about authority, that we never really get to be honest.

Lets hope that a new equilibrium between these attitudes is under way due to Europe.

The riots that the Greek youth are doing are great. They want a change and they know this is the only way to get it done. What nobody understands is that no matter if it is a weak(in your eyes) government or not they do have power. These people are pissed about the shooting of that boy and because the government is CORRUPT. THEY WANT A CHANGE!! At least these people are doing something about it other countries people have other shit 2 do with their lives then care about their future. They gotta worry about the new TV shows and what they are wearing the next day. People need to understand that their is a world problem hear and people want to change it. In a free market economy the rich get rich and the poor get poor( Income Inequality) and now the gap is widen so much that the majority of the country is poor and a small ( 5% in the united states)fraction of the population controls over 85-90% of the money and the gap keeps rising. The so called middle class is being shifted to the lower class now. Socializim is the only way to keep the lower class satisfied . Thats what we need
