I've always found it ironic that a philosophy that celebrates individualism, reason, and private property, would exhort its followers to give up their worldly possessions and follow a morally and intellectually perfect messiah to a secret location in the mountains to live free of sin and so they can fulfill his apocalyptic prophecy after which they will rebuild the world.

Totally not a religion.

I have no idea where the ancaps went. I assume that they felt that they lost since bitcoin and gold haven't gone anywhere after the largest central banking interventions in the history of capitalism happened.

Maybe they all really stocked up on canned goods and guns and hid in bomb shelters in Montana and we'll hear from them again when the nuclear war they were expecting didn't happen.

They were a fad. The came to understand that meanness is not a good basis for an economic system.

Also I think some of them simply came to the realization that they did not have a world to live in.

They've been exiled to the nether regions of space where they belong to be replaced by more "statist" capitalists, neo-corporatists and technocratic command economists which is more indicative of our actual choices then the anarchist fairytale land.

No, paradox is paradox. Causation tells you, directly, that anarchist capitalism will lead anti-anarchism. Please, at least respect your ideals.

Eran was the heavy weight slugger for an-capism here and then he left. Mikey went over to the commies and I went over to the dark side of the force ie: monarchism. Joe Liberty, mum and the others were chorus for the main act, but you don't need a chorus when the main act decamps. The centre did not hold.

I still visit the forums and post sometimes but I am less active then I used to be because I don't find as much discussions that I am willing to involve myself in.

Most discussions are unintersting and hostile (just read the gratuit hostility of several posts in this topic), thats not fun to discuss. It did help that when Eran was here there was interesting stuff to read and to reply to.

Georgism is the new fad for the politically naive teenager. I am (de)baiting three of these children over in the Libtard place now, childish I know.

One of the children wrote:Not satisfied with having been proved objectively wrong and dishonest on every single substantive claim you have made in this thread, you now have to disgrace yourself even further by dishonestly editing out the context and then putting as if you had not been caught in error again, and refuted again. As I've mentioned before, in more than 20 years of active participation on Internet forums I have never encountered such extreme, dishonest context chopping as yours.

heh just like marxism was the new fad for the politically naive teenager of the 19th century. Leftard hypocrisy is no end of fun.

Georgism isn't without some merit on utilitarian grounds but de-ontologically it is more of the same nonsense.

This the Libtard place! Absent moment, for a few minutes there I honestly thought it was a random thread in Gorkiy. OK, serious thread must pretend to make a serious contribution... Serious thread must pretend to make a serious contribution... must pretend to make a serious contribution.. must... They grew up.

ps. Georgism was a fad for the politically naive teenager in the 19th century too, plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

When you have been demolished, humiliated, and comprehensively and conclusively refuted on every single substantive claim you have made in posts related to geoism, of course you have to resort to sneering, belittling, and name-calling. There is nothing else you can do.
Georgism was a fad for the politically naive teenager in the 19th century too, plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

As it is from a Marxist, the above gets my nomination for "Unconscious Irony of the Month."

It is proverbial that politically naïve teenagers are Marxists, or at least socialists. So for a Marxist to accuse geoists of being politically naïve teenagers is blatant projection. To understand geoist theory requires some economic sophistication, whereas it is specifically Marxist propaganda that relies on the reader's economic naivete.
I am (de)baiting three of these children over in the Libtard place now, childish I know.

I invite readers to verify for themselves that ingliz's "contributions" in threads related to geoist theory are indeed just as childish as he says, and just as much more baiting than debating as he says.

Alert readers will note that this description of ingliz's self-disgrace is completely accurate.

You have seen that claim conclusively refuted, and you have been unable to support it. You are able to maintain your belief in it only by somehow preventing yourself from knowing the fact that capital is produced by labor while land is not. So of course you simply repeat your proved-false claim.
