Hi all,

I am trying to argue that Democratic peace theory is undemocratic as it goes against one of the main tenants of Democracy, popular sovereignty.

What do you all think?

Does spreading democracy afield go against democratic values of sovereignty?

Can wait to hear your ideas.

Imposing freedom and democracy on people by physical force is an obvious contradiction. The French had that problem during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, which is one of the reasons those wars didn't end well for them, and America is experiencing similar problems nowadays, for basically the same reason.
