I think the return to socialism or civil war is a little extravagant. But the invasion plans sound about right. Iraq won't go down without a fight though.

Iraq will fight, but be overpowered, they don't have the advantage of numbers or infastructure in this war. But all I have to say the the consequences, either a civil war in US or a hellish World War III, or even both.

I don't think so. I think they're a genuine attempt by the centre-left nations to maintain peace through the UN by diffusing the US' main "reason" for attacking.

It took me some time to come up with this. But USA is attempting to conquer the whole world.
They invade Iraq, installs an ass kissing goverment to the USA then moves to the next country on the list coming up with a new sick reason to do it.

I don't know about that, if Bush was really dumb, dumber than he is, then he would dare attempt at taking over the world. Past times have proven that world domination is impossbile, even if you can destroy the world with your damn nuclear arsenal.

USA won't be favored that much after this war, if it happens. Could cause large uproars in the middle east against the US maybe fuel for more terrorism rather than less.

Bush and the imperialists claim that by waging war on Iraq, they are defending human rights, that they are fighting "an evil dictator". But why aren't they rushing to protect human rights in other places or to overthrow "evil dictators" in the neighbouring states? The answer is simple: OIL. The region is of strategical and economic importance to Americans and their allies, and they will do anything to conquer it. "Inspectors" are just a cover for them while they are preparing for war, moving their armed forces to the Gulf. It is just disturbing to watch Bush control NATO and the UN like his puppets...

What will happen once the war has begun? Unquestionably, the Americans don't want another Vietnam, and as was proven in previous armed conflicts, they will start by bombing Iraq to the ground, destroying whatever industry it had, then send in their ground troops to "clean up what's left". Once Saddam is gone, some "democratic" government will be established, and since Iraqi industry and economy were destroyed by war, it will be forced to sell their oil for a cheap price to the imperialists.

The consequences on Russian economy (which is entirely dependent on world prices for natural resources) will be devastating. The infrastructure will collapse, quality of life for the average man will plummet. As a result, the left-wing opposition, especially KPRF, will gain support of the majority of Russian people as they will realise that the current regime is unable to provide a better future for them. We will either observe a return to Socialism or a completely devastating civil war, which could erupt into a World War III...

Understand that the USSR had good ties with Iraq at its time. And with Russia not wanting to go to war... and the Russian people not wanting it eather? It is not likely that Iraq and Russia will have a military conflict for a very log time to come...
