And because he went off script, and platformed people with views against the official covid narrative/fantasy, U.S. wars, the gender cult, and he managed to make the Fox News network unpopular and piss off some of our rulers. These are good things.

People can suck and be good simultaneously, I don't tend to write people off over a few disagreements.

You obviously disagree on Marxism-Leninism but how about Palestine? (Thanks, Google, I don't mean East Palestine, Ohio.)

However, who cares as long as his journalism is professional as hell?

I've finally found something making Carlson's greatness even more understandable.

Haaretz wrote:Opinion | Tucker Carlson Is Now a Big Problem for pro-Israel Conservatives

In the wake of Trump's fall, Fox News host Tucker Carlson has risen to become a full-on GOP hero. But his isolationism on Iran, and his lack of enthusiasm for the Jewish state, is a threat to the pro-Israel community

So whatever full-on GOP hero he is, he has the right stance on what really matters (Russia/Ukraine, Iran, or even Israel/Palestine perhaps).

He has platformed some MLs, which is a rarity on a show with that level of viewers. And on Palestine, I'd expect the same from him as I would everyone else on Fox News when it comes to the apartheid colony, so I'm pleasantly surprised he's not a huge advocate for it. :D

Wow, it seems he also doesn't tend to write people off over a few disagreements. People can suck and be good simultaneously, right? Has he platformed some ayatollahs too perhaps? Or someone from the Lions' Den? He may have found some good in them too. However, it could have been too much for his audience, as well as his employers, but someone from the Russian Duma/United Russia would still have been okay with them. They could have even done some Russian cuisine together, like Martha Stewart or something. :excited:

Pierogi Ruskie (Potato and Cheese Pierogi)

Recipe from Bar Prasowy
Adapted by Amelia Nierenberg

INGREDIENTS

Yield: 24 to 30 pierogi

For the Dough

2cups/255 grams all-purpose flour (preferably unbleached), plus more as needed
1teaspoon kosher salt
3tablespoons unsalted butter
1large egg, beaten

For the Filling

½pound waxy or all-purpose potatoes
Salt and pepper
3tablespoons unsalted butter
3medium yellow onions (about 8 ounces each), finely chopped
½cup quark cheese, cottage cheese or sour cream (about 4 ounces)

For Serving

Butter, for pan-frying (optional)
Sour cream, for garnish
Chopped fresh parsley or dill, for garnish

PREPARATION

Step 1
Prepare the dough: Add the flour and salt to a large bowl; whisk to combine. In a small saucepan, heat ½ cup water and the butter over medium-high until butter is melted, about 3 minutes. Pour the buttery liquid into the flour gradually, stirring it in as you add it. (The dough will be quite crumbly and flaky at this point, like a biscuit dough.) Stir in the egg until combined then move the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, 5 to 7 minutes. Cover the dough with a dampened towel or plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Step 2
Prepare the filling: Peel the potatoes and cut into 1-inch cubes. Add them to a large pot, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon salt and cover with cold water by about 2 inches. Bring to a boil over high and continue to cook at a simmer until potatoes are tender, about 25 minutes.

Step 3
While the potatoes cook, prepare the onions: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high. Add the onions, season generously with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden-brown and softened, about 12 minutes. Set aside about 1 cup of onions for garnish and add the rest to a medium bowl.

Step 4
Transfer the cooked potatoes to a colander to drain, then transfer to the medium bowl with the onions. Add the cheese, stir to combine, season generously with salt and pepper, then let cool.

Step 5
Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil over high.

Step 6
Prepare the wrappers: Cut the dough into two even pieces. (You’ll want to leave one piece under the towel to stay moist while you work with the other piece.) You’ll also want a small bowl of flour, a small bowl of water and a towel handy for keeping your hands clean. Dust some flour onto a baking sheet (for holding the pierogi) and your work surface, then roll out one portion of dough until ⅛-inch thick. Using a 3-inch cookie cutter or inverted glass, punch 12 to 15 disks of dough. (Save and refrigerate the scraps to boil as a rustic pasta, in soup or another use.)

Step 7
Assemble the pierogi: Working with one disk at time, spoon a scant tablespoon of filling onto the middle of it. Fold the dough in half to enclose the filling, bringing the edges together to form a crescent shape. Pinch the two sides together at the top, then work your way down on both sides, pinching the dough over the filling and pushing in the filling as needed, making sure the potato mixture does not break the seal. If needed, you can dip your fingertip into water and moisten the dough in spots as needed to help the two sides adhere together.

Step 8
To form a rustic pattern on the curved seal, pinch the rounded rim underneath using your pointer finger and middle finger and press an indentation on top with your thumb, working your way along the rounded rim. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet. (If you’ve gotten some filling on your fingers, dip your fingertips into the bowl of water then dry them off on the towel.)

Step 9
Repeat with remaining disks, then repeat the entire process with the remaining portion of dough. You’ll want to work fairly quickly, as the pierogi can be harder to seal if they start to dry out. (If cooking the pierogi at a later point, transfer them on the baking sheet to the freezer until frozen solid, then transfer the pierogi to a resealable bag and freeze.)

Step 10
To cook the pierogi, add a single layer of pierogi to the pot of boiling water. Let them cook until they rise to the surface, about 2 minutes, then cook another 2 to 3 minutes until puffy. (With frozen dumplings, you will need to increase the cooking time by a couple of minutes.) Use a slotted spoon to transfer cooked dumplings to a colander to drain, then boil remaining dumplings.

Step 11
If you want to pan-fry your pierogi, working in batches, melt 1 to 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high until crackling. Add a few boiled pierogi in a single layer to avoid overcrowding, and cook until crisp and golden, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining pierogi, adding butter as needed.

Step 12
Serve hot. Top with any browned butter from the pan, warmed reserved onions, sour cream and herbs.

The parties that call themselves Democrat and Republican... have both been bought off by Big Money. The Clinton Foundation is basically a bribery fund for influence peddling. So is the Trudeau foundation and many others.

The GOP isn't required - by its Republican traditions or right-of-center positionning - to support Israel, hate Iran, or to fight wars against the rest of the world. All of these policies have been foisted on this party (and the Democrats) by Big Money and its donations and smear campaigns.

Tucker Carlson doesn't follow this party line, which makes him more of a pure Republican than virtually any representative with an elephant button pinned to his lapel. This doesn't mean that he can't be bought off eventually, just that his non-bought-off status allowed him to interview people from many backgrounds.

Thanks for reminding the board about all the hate propaganda against ayatollahs that occurred right after Iran left the Western orbit in the 1980s. Tucker Carlson would have interviewed some of them back then, and viewers would have been a lot less ignorant after hearing their case.

Maybe he would have been invited to the USSR by some high-profile Soviet state media personality as well following his break-up with his employers in the US. :excited:

Yes, Russia is the latest hate-object, so feel free to drop hate-texts regarding that nation.

Since your ayatollah-in-the-toilet meme fell flat, perhaps this updated "Back in the USSR" trollmeme will do a lot better.

We're all rooting for you.

We all want you to be richer than all the countries that you hate.

Should I hate them for owning Tucker Carlson as well?

You also must be projecting since you're the biggest hater here dropping hate-texts all around all the time. You don't really do much else here than spitting hate, actually, although you might mean to enlighten people that way.

Keep rooting for the ayatollahs instead because they should rule the world obviously. Except for Russia perhaps, which couldn't be improved and governed any better even by the best of the ayatollahs.

You, whoever you are, are pretty good at making and keeping countries poor somehow. But who cares? Capitalism and technology are failures anyway even if they make you rich.
