The tweet, that we're supposed to get the whole story from, said scientists were shown to be 'trying'. Nothing more than that. Trump said that proved something, but he's a brain-damaged crook who doesn't have a single clue about science or ethics, so we can ignore what he said. Haven't you noticed that Trump's tweets from years ago always get contradicted - often by a later Trump tweet? The problem is he's a dumb fuck who cannot think consistently. That's why no-one should pay any attention to anything he says. Ever.

So, this was obviously a non-story, since it disappeared without trace 7 years ago, though HW has now tried to present it as something worth talking about. But he seems to have given up on that as well.
