Wandering the information superhighway, he came upon the last refuge of civilization, PoFo, the only forum on the internet ...

I asked first, and they can obviously see that I am not some smuggler. I had my wife and son with me at the time. They were keeping the river clear because one of the royal family(a Princess, I think) was visiting a nearby school. Very nice and they were very fluent in the Queen's English, as they were part of the King's regiment.

Well, not many smugglers hang out with their wife and a 2 year old boy. That and I'm not Lao, helps.
:)
They were taking a break until a small fishing boat appeared and then two hopped in a small gunboat and intercepted it, post-haste.

J-31 'Gyrfalcon' naval stealth fighter maiden flight:

Unlike the J-20, which was meant for a different role (heavy fighter/light stealth bomber), this one essentially fulfills china's F-22/F-35 need (mid-size multi-role stealth fighter). It appears to be an expansion on F-35 design characteristics. I would deem it an F-35 with various improvements.

C-121 Lockheed Constellation. It crashed and was abandoned in 1970, after attempting to land near McMurdo Station.

Rofllamo.

@Layman I'm pretty sure I saw Centurion tank in the news footage of the Israel Syria border last night.
I think they might still be in service.

I didn't know these were a 'cutting edge' thing.

Electric winter uniforms. Battery powered, provide 2 hours of heating in -30 degree celcius temps. The Chinese have been using them since 2011. Turns out the Russians are buying some for their 10,000 arctic troops this year.

This might be impressive if the decent winter warfare gear of Canadian troops wasn't as good, or better, and provides the same in -40C weather(developed pre-80's). What happens when the batteries run out?

I'd think a guy with a Russian name might know a bit about winter warfare gear.
