In North Africa Axis interests were not unified. There were many contrasting visions and ideas of what they wanted to do.
My general understanding is that Nazi Germany agreed to grant Italy hegemony in North Africa in the event of victory. Is this correct?
What would have happened to Vichy France's African territories? Would they have eventually been transferred to Italian control?
