Based on studying an array of historical archives, some historians are claiming the Battle of Agincourt may not have been the great victory it’s believed to be. The new research suggests the French only out numbered the English at most 2-1 and they even may have been evenly matched.

I think that is reasonable to say (as some Historians recently did) that the english had more soldiers, and french less, than the traditional 24k vs 6k.

I don't know if we can say 2:1 ... but less than 4:1 probably yes.

but this do not change the outcome and the consideration that the "old feudal army" in 1415 was outdated, the english archers were superior and so on...

there is no doubt that English archers are superior to knights that cannot reach them in melee.

the French loss at Agincourt was not due to the size or quality of the armies, but due to the French lack of command and control and their outdated tactics.

the legend of the British longbow is not quite at ninja level, but it is certainly far beyond the value of the weapon.

If that is true, then it was extremely unsporting of the English. A battle between the English and the French is only fair if the French outnumber the English by at least 3:1.
