Like they teach the lies about the start of their civil war, in the first place.
Even though the Confederation of Southern States were pro-slavery, that wasn't the reason for the war at all. They were perfectly within their rights for self-determination. The Imperialist Federals were determined to secure their resourses, among other reasons. The winners of that war are the direct decendents of the present government in power in the USA. That presents us with a good relative perspective on current events.

Darwin was not a Nazi. Nazis only existed after about 1918. Darwin was simply repeating the received 'wisdom' of his time and place. He was an upper-class British gentleman of the mid-19th century, and he seems to have shared all of the prejudices and received ideas of his class. Almost all people of his class and nationality believed the same things, including the Creationists who opposed Darwin and Huxley.

And why would Darwin's now-outmoded racial beliefs be relevant to a modern biology lesson? And in what sense are you 'skeptical' of him? Are you skeptical of his as a person, or skeptical of his evolutionary theory? If so, then Apollos' tactic of trying to discredit Darwinism by smearing Darwin himself has clearly succeeded.

You should also be aware that Apollos is a Christian Creationist. He therefore has an animus against Darwin, and is trying to smear him in order to, by association, discredit the theory of evolution.
