As most of you know, the Communisim forum is full of bigots ranting about how everything to do with communisim is evil, even if they don't fully understand it. The same goes for the socialist forum, which is often mistaken for Communisim rather then democratic socialisim, as it is.

Anyway- I'm just wondering why a hoard of morons doesn't come running in here telling everyone that Conservitisim is just as bad as the Nazis or some such nonsense?

I havent attacked anyone, nor will you find me referring to communism as 'the great evil' or any such sort. Whats wrong with a little healthy debate with those who see differently than you. And I dont believe I have to be a communist in order to debate with them.

Nothing, so I'm not complaining. I'm wondering why we don't get more of that kind of attacks directed towards the right (in this forum) as we do towards the left (the socialist forum).

You'll also notice few, if any posts from Izzy there so I hope any of these people you are referring to will decide to keep the integrity of the over all forum intact and save that type of the thing for the upper section, unless I am mis-interpreting the intent of the sub forums that is...

I stopped debating in the communist forum permanently, because I realize theres no way to show that capitalism is better than a utopia. Its not. I still believe that capitalism is the best thing we've accomplished so far, and we shouldn't discard it for an untested theory. I never attacked communists in that forum though, only communism.

I'm kind of suprised that no one has attacked conservatism yet...I'm sure some of you liberals and communists must have something to say about it? Go ahead, thats the purpose of this forum.

Anway, I think the problem with Conservitisim is that no one understands exactly where conservitives lay in referances to thier ideology.

For example- people think 'Communsim', then 'Stalin', then 'Bad'. Or the inverse, people think 'Fascisim', then 'Hitler', then 'Bad'. So they're got a sense (or atleast they think they have a sense) of what is wrong with said political belief. Thus: If all fascists are like Hitler, then I think fascisim is wrong, so I will attack it. The same goes for Communisim, obvsuily.

Now with Conservistisim.... well... what comes to mind after that?

Actually Mr.Bill conservatism, at least the Centre Right, is the most powerful political force in the world. America, France, Britan, Italy, Spain, Australia(i think) all have centre right governments. Also i can name a couple of books to read on the topic of conservative beliefs.

For a lot of American Conservatives, Ronald Reagan was the man. And i think he was okay, except for that stupid Star Wars thingimy. Also Abe Lincoln was a Republican i do believe. I'm sure Demo or Isildur can name a few good conservatives.
