I assume that the centrality of North Atlantic politics, and strong ideas like st. Laurence river laissez-faire kind of liberalism are decisive in centralizing modernity.

Inspired by Galileo, Columbus, and others, modern global citizens are intrigued to reproduce the experiment of encircling the globe by traveling west-ward to the classic then east-ward to the same region.

One can't help but think of the masculine symbol of the power suit, also referred to as the business suit, as two-fold journey around the globe, west-ward, then east-ward.

For some reason when you say power suit, I feel like that’s a woman’s domain because we actually have to dress up to exude power, hence the shoulder pads. Men don’t need a power suit, that’s what testosterone used to be for ;)

Anyway, I like comparison east/west comparison.
