3D software is very hard to learn and harder still to become good at. Why spend money like that if not prepared to use it and are still unsure if you will be able to.

Here is a 3D figurine, turned into a pic. This 3D took about 100 hours, the photo much less.

It's a skill that can be developed by anyone who wants to develop it. It takes time, obviously, and dedication, but I'd suspect that having spent a few thousand on a machine would itself be a powerful motivator to learn.
