Yes, it's the Daily Mail, so of course it's rubbish. I didn't actually bother to read the article but I did look at the pictures and I can imagine my six year old loving it. She could be just like her mums.

That it is being sold as a consumer good with the intent of exploiting an untapped niche of the already fucking weird doll market is disturbing. On the other hand, perhaps it isn't so bad that girls get used to the concept of breastfeeding, which is a sadly underused method of feeding children and bonding mother and child.

If people are complaining that it sexualises young girls, there are many far worse products and behaviours that are encouraged nowadays which have absolutely no social value.

Just because you don't see it as sexual, doesn't mean that other people feel the same way. There is a prudishness around breastfeeding, and it is demonstrated by people's responses to this ... thing.

Yes, it is completely inappropriate. It is yet another example of the extention of the military-industrial complex to the toy factories run by right wingers. It is about an inappropriate as G.I. Joes and toy guns. They now need to "teach" the little girls to breed more to keep up with the production of military forces.
