the point being if you aren't NOW and part of the living world you would completely miss whatever God(s) may be, and what they have to offer. This is a temporal paradigm, the spatial correlation is that if you aren't HERE and part of the living world... I mean, if you think someone is between you and God or Nature you are delegating your existence every bit as much as if you think God or Nature once was or might one day be - but isn't. It is in the individual, in the living life that such experiences are possible and nowhere else. If you want for more of a point I'd just say youre correct and many people look outside themselves for the sacred spirit, they can only want God to be far away and long ago so that it seems like they can get away with being ignorant and lazy, not that I blame them, Heaven is a very strong light..
