Dolce & Gabbana's products disappeared from China's Amazon equivalents and the Chinese would never buy anything from Dolce & Gabbana again. Chinese celebrities and models boycotted it over designer Stefano Gabbana’s unsavoury comments about China on Instagram. The race row could also negatively impact the brand's global sales.

This is being stoked by Chinese hyper-jingoists and apparently also notorious anti-white racists. (Check her twitter account, she's Sarah Jeong-level delusional and insane.) The video wasn't particularly offensive. Only the remark on the instagram page (?) But they claim it was 'hacked', which is reasonable to assume, given the lack of motive a commercial party has to undermine its commercial interests in such a huge market.
