University of South Florida students pass Israel divestment resolution

Speaking of the occupation, human rights lawyer Michael Sfard thinks the Israeli occupation will end suddenly.

200 academics from 50 Italian universities have signed a call for the boycott of Israeli academic institutions until Israel complies with international law.

The Italian scholars join more than 1,500 of their colleagues in the United Kingdom, Belgium, South Africa, Ireland and Brazil who have endorsed similar pledges in recent months.

The call is also focused on ending ties between Italian universities and Technion, the Haifa-based Israeli technical university.

In surprise move, France rejects Israeli drones

Campaigners in France are welcoming a decision by their country’s military not to buy the Watchkeeper drone, which is based on a model Israel has used in hundreds of lethal attacks on Palestinian civilians.

More than 8,000 people had signed a petition launched by BDS France in September calling on the defense ministry not to pick the Israeli drone.

The drone choice has nothing to do with BDS or Israel, we're not dumb.

For the start the Watchkeeper is co-produced by Thales, a French corporation, and Elbit, an Israeli one. The production is mostly based in UK because of a contract with the British army.

Actually we did chose Safran's new Patroller because field tests unambiguously demonstrated its superiority, and because it is almost completely designed and produced in France (only one German subcontractor) by another French corproation. The prices are the same.

It's mentioned on your own source.

Ain't it funny how each and every alleged victory by the BDS movement which doesn't depend on a cacophony among left-liberals you post usually has a cause that has nothing to do with its activities and how usually no one else claims it had anything to do with supporting the Palestinians?

And their demand was quickly disregarded

If the WMA won't do anything but simply ask the Israeli Medical Association, then I think it's safe to assume the demand was disregarded, don't you think? Even more so if the WMA is saying it trusts the IMA to act responsibly and won't comment further on the issue as per Silverstein's article.
