Ukrainian-born immigrant to occupied Palestine and Speaker of the Knesset, Yuli Edelstein, at the invitation of Jewish Speaker of the British House of Commons, John Bercow, was welcomed by a joint session of "Lords" and Members of Parliament yesterday. Although the United Nations, including Britain, consider the Jewish settlements to be illegal because they are in occupied territory, Edelstein actually lives in one and represents it in the Israeli parliament.

This will teach the British politicians that the Queen's English for the so-called West Bank is in fact Judea and Samaria. Edelstein should know; he lives there. Undoubtedly, John Bercow has increased in stature among Israelis this week.

And what is the point of this thread? Like, that the UK Parliament should declare persona non-grata any politician representative an illegal colony or settlement inside one?

It's news.
Let there be no doubt that the English are almost as pro-Israeli as the Americans. After all, they gave the Zionists the birth certificate for their state.

You missed my point; it was the British who provided the birth certificate for the Zionists to make a homeland in Palestine by issuing the Balfour Declaration. Action speaks louder than words and by inviting a Ukrainian who lives in an illegal settlement in the West Bank to address the the combined "Lords" and Commons, the English have conferred legitimacy on the Jewish settlements. Chalk this one up as a propaganda victory for Zionism.

Not all English people were happy about the Jewish Speaker of the House of Commons inviting his Ukrainian-born illegal settler Speaker of the Knesset to London. Anti-Zionist activists projected written messages on building housing the parliament late Tuesday night, accusing Edelstein of being a "racist leader" and calling to boycott and arrest him.
