"Capitulating in the face of implacable opposition from Brasilia, Israel on Monday walked back former settler leader Dani Dayan’s appointment as ambassador to Brazil." Now where in the world would an illegal Jewish settler in occupied Palestine be welcome, you might wonder. Why, New York of course. Ha! Ha!

Dani Dayan - You can tell a lot by the shape of a man's head.

Dani Dayan is making his mark in New York already
The pro-Israel lobby organization, J Street, has condemned Dani Dayan, the Israeli settler who has been appointed Consul General to New York, because he described the group as “anti-Israel” and “un-Jewish.”

Looks like the Brazilians were right to refuse this slob as a diplomat of the Jewish State of Israel after all.

That's not true. It may be true for the politicians because of shit like AIPAC and its power however.
The fact that there is dissent in the Jewish community doesn't prove that a majority of American Jews aren't Zionist. A majority are. That doesn't mean that most American Jews walk in lockstep with Netanyahu; most American Jews support a two-state solution.

Also, Jewish Voices for Peace are the fastest growing Jewish organization in America who oppose Israel's crimes and endorse BDS. You should sign up to them.

So far. But that's changing. More and more Jews on campus and elsewhere are voicing opposition to zionism and endorsing BDS. I believe this movement among Jews can only grow.

The problem in America is the propaganda in the mainstream media when covering anything on Israel-Palestine, but since social media is used more and more, I believe minds will change to favour justice, not oppression, as is typical amongst liberal American Jews.

This documentary covers the propaganda in US media, it's pretty good.

What are you talking about?

As for liberal American Jews, I doubt they will stop supporting a two-state solution.

Bolded for the lulz.

The opposite is happening. More liberal American Jews oppose Israel than ever before. My guess is their numbers will only rise.

Much more has happened since the first half of 2013 when the survey of that report took place, such as the vicious attacks on Gaza of 2014 which were everywhere on social media, as well as Nethanyahu defying Obama when he came to town and pissed off a lot of Democrats, along with Israel continuing to display its insanity every day, which again is reported daily all over social media.

I very much doubt American Jews now believe Israel should be destroyed.

Nobody said anything about anything being destroyed, despite your attempts to twist things.

They are not the ones who use the rhetoric the far-right uses with regards to Israel after all.

Again, what are you talking about?

The far left and far right have long been connected. Once people had bought the lying Marxist drivel that the first world war was started by finance capital, its only a samll step to blame it all on Jewish bankers. Could it be that the united States early leaders were power mad, self righteous egotists who cynically tried to take advantage of Britain's courageous struggle against Napoleonic tyranny? Oh no the 1812 war was all the fault of the evil bankers.

Well,

I'm not the one peddling conspiracy theories about Zionist control of the media and silly stuff like that.

skinster wrote:Must be hard when confronted with questions that aren't from the hasbara playbooks. Maybe it's time for a new pro-Israel propaganda report.

Said by the one who shuts down and starts insulting everyone when her playbook stops working and is confronted head on her nonsense - you've done it plenty of times.
