Israel is a colony for the U.S. (and Britain before it) to maintain its interests in West Asia. While there are plenty of lobbies that put Israeli interests over U.S. interests, doesn't change that fact. As soon as Israel becomes useless to the U.S. empire - the direction it is increasingly going in - the U.S. will drop it like it dropped Ukraine..
